HTC Touch Diamond with 12 months half price

Best contract deal I have found for this phone so far is on Orange Racoon 35 (18 months though) and it's £399.99 sim free at play currently but anyway here's the offer:

12 months half price via cash back saving £210.00
Send off your bills to claim 4 x £52.50 cheques
700 minutes and 100 texts per month
Unlimited calls to UK landlines beginning 01 or 02
Free calls to one Orange number of your choice
Average line rental after cash back equivalent to: £23.33
Total contract cost over 18 months: £420.00

Hopefully with other networks releasing their own versions in the next few weeks hopefully the main online retailers will start undercutitng each other soon!

There are a few of these deals allrady posted, if you do these deals you wont get HTC's version of the phone, orange and t-mobile as you say are doing their own versions, in fact t-mobiles one looks quite different...

also they are all pre-order, the only web-site that is selling the HTC one, is expansys on t-mobile...
but the contract deals are really expensive.

there is a big few months soon in mobile phones being released, it is worth just watching to see what happens... these include

Nokia N96
Blackberry Bold
I-Phone 3G

I think HTC were very clever in getting these out before the big boys all release those phones, however if you read reviews, I think they rushed it...

Ok - I missed the pre order on mobiles2yourdoor web site. I like the look of the Touch pro now too but don't think the 3G will tempt me away from Windows mobile.

From what I have seen blackberry bold, may be the one, for windows mobile! I liked the look of the Pro too, but I think it will be too expensive.

I hate the look of Blackberrys myself but eahc to their own. I am lookign to replace an old o2 Xda Exec which still beats most smartphones out ther 3 years after I bought it! To get decent battery life though I need to carry a huge after market high capacity battery which makes it even mroe of a brick.
