I know a deal from Very was posted the other day (which I was fortunate to get Amazon to match) but I've just seen that Very have an even lower price on just the black and pink phones now. Hope this helps someone.

Heat for spec shame it's so ugly in design/build

Huh Amazon price match. What magic words did you use?

Fantastic spot on this! Thought it was great at £399.99, never mind at £20 less

Check reviews about Very before going anywhere near them. They are useless.

Thanks for posting - it is a great shame about design, not for me...

Absolutely!.... they're a very dodgy company (no pun intended) but mostly related to their discount codes, i've never had any problems with normal purchases, but if you're buying with one of there 'money off' codes, make sure you take screenshots of everything, as they have a funny habit of not honouring them or charging you full amount after you've made the transaction.

Alrite price but the design is from 2012-13.
In current market it's not appealing.

Lol - no magic words. Just used the link on the page for the phone to report a lower price elsewhere (Very) and the next day the price had dropped to match (but only on the colour I had done it for). Think since then other colours were dropped to the 399 price.

You can Google Pixel XL for 399 from CPW, + £10 back via quidco, which would you have?

No problems from Very personally. Always get cashback and have saved a decent amount of money buying from them via black Friday sales.

They also don't seem to care about different family members in the same household using the new customer discount. Done it 4 times and saved a decent chunk.

The Pixel XL over a pink HTC.
I appreciate that the XL doesn't have a memory card slot and is only 32gb, but you get unlimited photo video backup with Google and the latest software updates. The biggest thing for me is, if something goes wrong, I just nip to the nearest cpw/currys and get them to send it off, rather than faffing around sending it recorded delivery back to very and speaking to them on the phone about it (you can bet it'll be a foreign call centre and they won't have a clue about where your phone is).

It was rhetorical, but 3 points for effort however minus a point thinking PC world are anything other than dire when it comes to anything going wrong! The customer service number is not free and takes an eternity to get through 37mins at last attempt also the staff instore only have access to the same number, Very very (see what I did ) poor service and staff are not experts on anything other than poor service and after care.
