Htc u ultra all colours are still available at very.co.uk at the above price, I checked last week and they were back up to full price, so this is my second post on this product.
This is a great price. Cheapest in the UK* currently.
May be cheaper in Europe
Just to add they are the same price at amazon uk
found cheaper elsewhere, so will expire this for now

An ugly looking phone with huge bezels...

Despite what 2017 has told us, bezels aren't everything, it just makes handsets screens more susceptible to crack. And this is an excellent deal either way.

I found this guy does an honest review, he reviews alot of phones but he buys them himself so he isn't swayed by a manufacturer. Unlike people who have the phone for a week and are also swayed by the spec's i.e is it waterproof etc. this person keeps on reviewing after X amount of months usage so he gets a real feel of what he likes and dislikes.

An excellent phone for this price. Recently bought it elsewhere with 20% off, making it an absolute steal but it's then imported.

At least from Very you have next day delivery and a UK warranty.

Voted Hot.

Actually its a lovely looking phone to be fair. Ok, bezels may not be your thing, but it's a real stunning phone I think. Lovely glass back finish to it.
Great price most reviews are at over $700

I totally agree with you a great phone with a lovely screen, it might be to big for some but I like a big phone and I'm really happy with mine.
How did you get on with getting your money back from Amazon.de after?

I think they are good looking phones and all this bezel crap is just fashion following like sheep. When holding my phone I would rather be holding the bezel than the screen. Hmmm, tempted to get the black one to complete the set. Already got me the blue and white.

Clcik on 'Youtube' on the video box.
This will open the viseo on You Tube and allow you to subscribe etc
Yes all sorted. Definitely wouldn't order from them again.

Ordered on ebay with 20% off code, thought it was worth a try.

1 phone has arrived in double quick time and insured now with Barclays, just waiting on another to arrive now from a different seller.

Me and the Mrs are sorted for phones then

Don't worry, have returned a Galaxy S8 and iPhone 7 despite having used them for a few days. Very abide by the 14 day no questions asked return law. If you don't like the item simply tell them you wish to return it.

You can't use the headphones unless you plan to be charged the cost of replacing them but other than that, you're free to order the product and try it out for 14 days to see if it's to your liking, has features you want etc. It's why I'll never buy a phone in store ever again.

Do you just get these to test them, then send them back?

While I don't think bezels are the be all and end all, I don't think it's a fashion. For example, a 6.2" display would usually be pretty cumbersome and annoying at times but with an S8 plus it's doable because of the screen to body ratio. Personally I think the S8 has the perfect ratio. Phones like the Mi Mix and iPhone X look great but the bezels are too small and can make them awkward to use.
Heat for the price.
A lot of features for the money. But to me, it's another of those flagship phones that are let down by lack of attention to detail. Personally the useless secondary display, small battery and massive footprint put me off buying this.
Mrswitch1 h, 37 m ago

No that would be deliberately abusing the system. The iPhone 7 was going to be used for iOS development before my uni gave everyone free iPads. The S8 was bought to see if it could sway me from buying the U11+. It couldn't lol

Only if you buy in store hence why I never do. If you buy online, most things you can return. Only things you can't are personalised items and things for hygiene like lingerie, pants/boxers and earphones. Everything else is pretty much fair game.

Amazon being Amazon have extended theirs to 28 days, but have been known to blacklist people who have abused their return policy.

For example Carphone Warehouse Policy
"What can I do with my phone and still be entitled to return or exchange it?

Youcan turn the phone on and try it out. We recommend you don't save anything to the memory of the handset until you are sure you are happy with it."

Ah ok, I’ve never needed to return a phone or tablet so wasn’t sure how retailers dealt with it!

Guy above in the video above goes on about the screen quality but not much else.

Shame its not the dual sim one i would snap this up.
Heat added because it's a big saving on previous price but i suspect it's only this price now because it hasn't sold well? A 3000mAh battery on a phone with a 5.7 inch QHD screen is surely a recipe for frustration? AFAIK the SD821, whilst very fast, is not as battery friendly as, say, an SD625?

But can you imagine the sd625/630 in this phone, would be woefully slow
I think most of the reviews were early ones when the phone was way too expensive. At less than half what it was it seems a good phone for the money. And the camera is one of the best.

Totally agree, this thing is still £629 at carphone warehouse sim free, which I agree for this phone is absolutely ridiculous. But at £269 possibly this is a steal.

Woefully slow is maybe being a little dramatic* but I do agree a flagship phone couldn't have an SD625 at its heart but similarly a flagship phone really should have a bigger battery than 3000 mAH imo. But like I said at this price it's probably not such an issue.

* My wife's Redmi Note 4 (4gb/64gb, SD625, 4100mAh, 5.5 FHD) is really no slower than my ZUK Z2 (4gb/64gb, SD820, 3500mAh, 5.0 FHD) in real world tests (launching apps etc) and lasts about 2 days longer between charges!

I personally have only ever had "flagship" phones with the latest processor, but for what I use my phone for I'd probably be just as happy with a mid range running sd630 (heard good things about this processor) or the kirin 659 in the new honor 7x which I've just ordered FYI.
Lovely phone and got it for £183. bargain

This mate, just sold moto z, horrible phone, mods are expensive gimmicks. Moto z scratches and smudges like nothing right, you get no battery life whatsoever unless you buy the power pack, which defeats the point of an ultra thin phone In the first place. U ultra all day
