Found 4th Nov
I have purchased this phone from CeX online store for my friend. condition was great for even grade B phone which cost me £340 on O2. CeX give you 24 months warranty which is great and if you prefer mint grade A condition with all original accessories then go after grade A which cost £380 pound on O2 I think its worth extra 40 as you will be getting Usonic earphones . Unlcoking HTC phone is cheaper on ebay cost few quids ..Stocks is going very fast so act fast if interested

Cex pricing is a strange one. Why do they charge so much less if it’s on O2?

I got a 256GB iPhone 7, grade A, for £430. Yet a grade C on Tesco or EE costs more. Best part is, the phone was unlocked.

Yes its strange but i always check whether its easy to unlock phones before ordering. Some phones are cheaper and easier to unlock while others are not that simple.I purchased pixel XL from them and it has to be unlocked without unlocking code through google server so i paid EE 8 pound to unlock it but it saved me 40 pound . HTC phones are always cheaper to unlock . They always check phones through checkmend so never had trouble unlocking them

Managed to buy one,now out of stock-never bought from cex before and see this is £500 brand new on amazon but maybe I should not compare with a grade A mint condition phone but I think £380 is a very good price but looking at the specs on this phone I see it does not have a 3.5 mm headphone jack which is the first time for me buying a phone without one but has a USB Type-C to 3.5mm adapter whatever that is so presume it will not cause me any problems when I use the phone with headphones in the gym etc-why are they making some phones without the 3.5mm headphone jack.

Yes most latest flagships from google/apple/htc are removing headphones jack which is not good trend( probably for water proofing but samsung can give you highest ip rating without removing headphone jack) but you can use any headphone from usb C to 3.5 MM jack adapter which you should get in bundle . Only downside of this is that you cannot charge ur phone and listening music from headphones at the same time as it use same USB C port

Thanks for that, actually sometimes I do charge my phone while listening to music with my present phone but I guess I will have to get out of that habit with this phone but no big deal really.

I hate the styling of this phone. It reminds me of early iPhone's!

I was with you, but I have now found that I actually prefer using my Bluetooth headphones / earbuds, especially for the gym. Once you lose that wire in the gym you wonder why you ever had it before

I think it's actually in France, or they have a portal in France (hearsay) I've purchased a few phones from them no problems.
Original Posts about them either go sky high or bomb. Seems to depend or whether the Eglobal haters or lovers get there first!

I never purchased from them but their phone models are often dual sim and different to whats being sold in UK and European Union. Its china-based company so UK consumer law and normal retail practices don't apply and they often fraudulently avoid duty & Vat and that's why sell it much cheaper. My one friend bought one phone and it took ages to arrive and it was not covered by warranty as device was not meant for uk market but if someone still want to take risks them they should go for it

Seems to be out of stock now for the Grade A. Grade B, still available. Thier pricing is crazy, an extra £120 for the same condition phone, unlocked! Great find for that phone OP. And like you say it's so much easier than most people think to unlock a network. I've never really dealt with Cex, do you think this handset will be available in my nearest store? I'm not sure I can risk dropping to a grade B unit, as brand new handsets barely last me 12 months due to my work in construction.

CeX store in here sell it very expensive so online is much better and you have 14 days peace of mind if change minds. You can return it to any CeX store if unhappy and they will refund it straigt away. I always get grade B and sometime grade B come out as good as grade A. They have strict criteria of grading. Garde A meant as good as new with all original accessories. Grade B has few light wear and tears which i dont mind. I am also rough user and use phone without heavy covers and cases

YMMV.
I think the fact that ukdeals allow their postings says something.
As regards CEX's warrany. Note that after six months (or more) their refund will be to their current selling price at that time (apparently)

Actually they will repair and replace it first and if they dont have stock or could not repair then refund current selling price which seem fair to me as value of phone reduce over time

That's not how I read the conditions you quoted (after six months) And the value of you phone according to them could suddenly drop with the release of a new model (after only six months) There have been cases, quoted here somewhere where they quibble about the phone and refuse to do anything.

Just got email from paypal Cex refunded me £380 for my purchase from last night. There's no email from Cex so no explanation. I'm very annoyed

I've got an Xperia XZ, a nice phone but just not snappy enough for me, I need more performance. So I've been looking at XZ Premium, XZ1 used on CEX and also the Nokia 8, I've also added this phone to the list now I'm sure a Snapdragon 835 will be good enough.
