This is the cheapest I can find for the plus version, and I know its eglobal, but the t&c's below seem like you're covered if anything goes wrong.

Also covered by the eBay/PayPal guarantee.

This is £240 cheaper than the price on the HTC website, and the same price of the likes of the oneplus 5t which doesn't have these kind of specs.

As a footnote I love the part that says the warranty doesn't cover and I quote... "acts of war or terrorism"

Check out the comparison with this Vs the Pixel 2XL. The camera is a very different beast.... Sadly.

You can use Google's camera app on the U11+ to get closer results to the pixel 2. Having owned both, the quality of the U11+ is very close to the pixel 2 and as I'm sure you can tell, audio is much much better on the U11+

As far as this deal goes, I think one would be a bit silly to buy a current HTC product and rely on after sales support from these guys. They'll be Taiwan or Hong Kong units (UK models come with 128gb) and the U11+ has a issue with faulty screens and you still need to wait for the phone to be shipped to Hong Kong in the event you get a faulty device.

Iwouldn't risk it for this device personally, the display issue is common enough that HTC replaced my panel for me and the issue came back within a week, plus all the reports of the screen issue on XDA and Reddit.

I think the ed's and mods are in a huff with me because of my outspoken words on the whole 20% off co-op ebay deal. All my posts, including comments get put into moderation now
Something is weird... In the Ebay description everything is perfect. 14 days to return if you change your mind, 1 year of warranty in the UK... But if you go to the official website you can't find nothing of this. And in addition the movil phone doesn't come with the HTC Headphones.

The Pixel gets the win from me, but is it just me or is there little difference between the two? Low light yes, but the htc seems to out gun the pixel 2 in some of the areas, I.e outside shots for example.

That is the general consensus really, the Pixel 2 and U11+ basically trade blows in many areas. I think the biggest difference is audio in video recordings from the U11+

You can't really go wrong camera wise with the S9, U11+ or Pixel 2

So you can buy the u11 plus on ebay with virtually the same camera, virtually the same software, a bigger screen, better audio and basically stock android for £460 or the pixel 2 (not XL) for £50 more... Erm... I know which one I'd choose, that's if you don't mind buying from eglobal on ebay

Partly why many feel like HTC weren't allowed to release the U11+ in America as part of their deal, it is basically a Pixel 2 XL at a much lower price. There are still some caveats though.

If you are a fiend for security updates or you like to use custom ROMs then the Pixel 2 still takes the lead here. The warranty experience with HTC is absolutely abysmal and Google definitely has a leg up here, HTC take at least 3-4 weeks to fix any issues whilst Google will simply send you a new phone

Besides that you can't go wrong with either phone. Like I mentioned before though, it is a gamble on the screen with the U11+ and I'd say the same thing regarding buying an imported Pixel 2 XL. If you get a good screen though then this is a beautiful deal.
