Sorry, I thought the Vive Pro was out. When is it available?
Vive pro out in April and costs a ton £800 without controllers or lighthouses
Been waiting for a decent price on these - sold! Thanks OP
Nice... now I just need to take out a small loan to afford a new Graphics card.
Amazing deal. This is gonna get hot.
This is a cracking price for this piece of kit if you have a GeForce 1070/1080 graphics card. I do actually enjoy watching films through the Cmoar VR Cinema app but you do need to up the sampling rate to 3.5 for better quality image, then change it back to 1.0 for games. This is the only place to ever watch 3D movies.
£499 new now btw. This is tempting though. I just get worried about second hand, like if this was used for demos then it might have been on for 1000s of hours which might mean it'll be much more likely to fail in a couple of years like some displays do.
Is a GTX970 fine for VR?

Not sure I would have gone for this... is it the newer headset, newer satellites etc.. (HTC have refreshed these a couple of times). I ended up saving well over £100 with quidco and a free £50 steam card during the steam sale... Also no Fallout VR

Anyway if a new purchaser wants tilt brush, I think I have a spare code for the Vive store.. send me a PM

Burn in is the only issue and in two years time you probably would of moves on to a different headset.

Aye, I got confused Indie Gala... I have all bundles for X to XXII... think I've redeemed about 4 keys lol
Anyone else here take the plunge on this? Mine is due for delivery Tuesday, I'll be sure to post back with some info on condition/packaging etc but would be interested in others' experience too.

Update: mine arrived a little later than I thought because of the Easter Weekend. It came in the original packaging and while clearly shows signs of use, all the components are in good condition. The only real problem was one of the controller's touchpad was all mushy and didn't even register a click but when I called SVP about this they offered to send me another controller which is absolutely fine.

The wall mounts were also missing but at this price, I really don't mind that. I've picked up a set of 3 from Amazon for ~£8 and all is well. Great service from SVP in this case.
