I've been keeping an eye on Wildfire deals and think this is the best at the moment. By redemption you get 12 months free.

It is with buymobilephones and on an 18 month T-mobile contract. This includes 600 minutes, 500 texts and unlimited internet.

Cost = £30 x 18 =£540
minus 12 month free = £180
minus £30 cashback = £150 = £8.33pm

This is a redemption deal so only go for this if you are organised enough to send them off. I personally have done redeption deals with lots of comapnies over a number of years and had no problems. My OH currently has one with buymobilephones and has had the first 3 of 4 cashbacks with no problem. However this is not guaranteed!

Also worth noting is that T-Mobile are merging with Orange so network coverage will soon improve. (As part of the deal they are also sharing networks with Three).

I would never use buymobilephones again I've just received my xperia X10 after a week ( next day delivery promised ).
This was after they sent out the wrong phone first ( 3 days late ), then they sent the correct phone which has obviously been used ( the previous owner had left photos on it ), and I had to ring them yet again because they have forgot to send out the sim for it. Stay away!

Yeah but everyone can't stop using a retailer (or e-tailer) because one person had a bad experience or there would be nowhere left to buy anything from!!!

OK they also haven`t sent out my redemption vouchers after 2 phone calls, so for me this is a bad deal. Maybe others have had better experiences.

And by the same logic if we kept using the same poorly performing companies they would never have to improve...

How about two people with bad experiences?

I ordered an HTC desire from them - waited over three months with them promising stocks were arriving "next week". I finally rang them up and they admitted they had no idea when stock was arriving, so I cancelled.

Personally, I won't be using them again.

i ordered a wildfire from them last month and found them ok. phone came next day and was ace but unfortunately had to send it back as i wasnt receiving any signal from 3 where i live found them to be helpful on the phone and received prompt emails telling me it had all been cancelled and received the money i paid for the phone back in my account soon after.

but i know everyones experiences will be different, dont want to cause an argument just balance it a little.

deal seems good but unfortunately not for me as where i live i can only get o2 and vodafone signal

Not really. If a company keeps getting slated then leave it well alone. However, don't stop using companies because one person shouts loudly online about their example of poor service.

I've been on here long enough to know that redemption deals normally sink like lead baloons. But I also know that many people have used them for years with no problems.

Many of my mates say they don't trust redemption deals but then still pay £30-40pm for their contracts. So what do they have to lose by giving one a go?

thanks for posting op.

How did you get the unlimited net? By changing the booster? Thanks.

Yeah changed the booster. From reading other forums (a few) people have managed to get the free unlimited internet the T-mobile offer to customers who buy and android set direct from them and then change the booster. However, many haven't and the allowance of 600/500 is more than enough for me.

Thanks, yeah figured that out eventually!

Ordered, will try and do the unlimited internet with T-mob just for the flexibility.

Are you even acknowledging your own comments?
Redemptions are only as good as the companies offering them. Thus far I have had 7 phones on redemption deals and have never had a missed payment - but then again I have only ever used CPW companies (onestopphoneshop.co.uk, mobiles.co.uk, e2save.co.uk).
THE COMPANY BEING POSTED HERE IS NOT RELIABLE. bigfatpat is correct.. Google them.
This is a shyte deal and gets a cold from me.

Hmmm. How about googling review centre and seeing what people have posted on there.

Onestopphoneshop = 1 star
Mobiles.co.uk = 1 star
e2save = 1 star
buymobilephones = 3 stars

Have you got any more great advice for us?

And, if you ask a grown up, they'll explain how I was replying with a quote from a previous poster, not myself.
