Not really a great deal if I'm honest. While the Wildfire is a decent phone, it can be bought outright for around £129 now, so to even think about getting a 2 year contract on this isn't particularly the best.

I was thinking about getting this phone, so can anybody explain why it's -5 degrees.

Please !

Do you have a link? I ordered from Voda 2nd Oct, still waiting delivery, Argos Out of stock, just did a Google shopping search and cheapest in stock is Three at £189.99

The Three 2 year contract is for £360 less Quidco = £304 less phone cost of £190 = £114/24 months = £4.75/month for month for 300 mins or texts & 500MB Internet.

As Three is the best network around our area I am seriously considering this even though I did not want a 2 year contract.

I can't remember where I bought mine from, but it was only a month or so ago. I think it was from Play but I now see they've put the price up to £149, although it was also around £139 a month ago on the Vodafone website - not sure if it's changed since then.

Carphone Warehouse offered me the same phone yesterday on 3 - £49.99 upfront, 300 mins, 3000 texts, 500 Mb, £15 per month, 24 months. Seriously considering this for my kids.

Anyone considering the HTC Wildfire should also check out the San Francisco exclusively from Orange. Bigger and better screen, and £99 PAYG. If you use one of the "Ready Deals" where you pay for credit up front - you can get the phone from as little as £39!

My wife has the Wildfire which is "ok" but we are getting my son the San Francisco...
