2nd impressions are much as the first, cable is stupidly short and really only fit for a sound source kept on your person, and the volume is just not what you'd call loud (tested on a number of devices). "worth a punt"?, for me personally they'll just be kept as a 2nd to the headphones I have (house of marley's which up until now I've always thought were a bit meh, but these AKG's make them sound like world beaters). For less than 20 quid they're probably what you'd expect from an rrp at that price, at the £50 they are elsewhere I'd be well disappointed if this is what £50 bought me. Cheers for posting though, cured my desire to get some AKG's if nothing else.

Got mine today as well, yeah cable is pretty short, but fine for me as mp3 player use, and not that keen on cable dangling down either side (my others, one cable goes round back of neck), but I was pretty impressed with sound quality, especially loudness / bass, then again, they're replacing some 5yr old in ear sennheiser CX300 (which are still working fine, but are a bit grubby in the grills) so bass could only get better, but I'm very happy with these for under £20 oh, and like the posh carry bag they come with + 3.5 to 1/4" were a bonus!

netsirkf

Never did get confirmation but they turned up today, first impressions are that the cable is very short and the headphones aren't very loud.

netsirkf

I've not even had a dispatch mail, just mail from PayPal to confirm money has been taken.

This is a great deal. Had a pair of these (from HTFR too) a few years ago and though quality of the cable wasn't the best (and ultimately led to their downfall), they sounded great for the money (sure they were about £50ish) and I loved them. They sadly broke on me and I bought some other headphones which broke last Friday so I've ordered these. Can't wait to have them again. Thanks to the OP!

Ordered on Monday PM and records arrived today on Wednesday - very nice! Could get addicted to this as cheaper than buying MP3's from iTunes

charles.w

Can't I'm afraid. It's going to the small claims court. Read into that what you will.

daalphamale

will do....but normally you get a lot of stick for posting vinyl deals!

Bully

Cold, price excludes vat and postage ,very misleading

torby

be nice then to know how much they are elsewhere then to see what the savings are....as with most deals posted on here...

Nad_84

agree agree agree! You cannot beat 1210's! Feel the music, actually buy something, no downloads and if you want to you can hook them up to traktor! Nothing beats vinyl! well apart from the fact it's hard to get hold of

scottydoo88

Yea i was considering the CDJ1000 mk3 but thought nah get the 2000's....just a few more extra features with the 2000's

fil

Im very interested in cdj's, would love some even the 900s are too much for me still, will possibly get some older cdj1000s when / if the second hand price drops a bit more

Why buy limited edition T62's when you cam buy a pair of Stanton T62s from decks.co.uk for £245 Used T120's would be a better option if you have a limited budget or Gemini TT-04's

meankilla

cus you get the world's only transparent blue dj cartridge, the Stanton I Track. and its a good deal i think and one of the best starter deck around

montyburns56

Isn't this exclusive to HTFR, so no one else could sell it at a lower price? Why is this better than the standard and cheaper T 62 anyway?
