I guess it may drop lower after Christmas! But I think it's the best price out there right now. I am going to have one of these in my living room for 2020 whether my Mrs likes it or not

The KS7000 was advertised as having smart things but samsung never provided it. Google it as you'll legally entitled to a full refund of purchase price which I put towards the LG C9 see example eu.community.samsung.com/t5/…806 but there are lots of forums talking about it.
Just wondering if it's worth paying the extra £250 for this over the b9 from Costco

B9 has HDMI 2.1 but the processor is to slow to do 4k hdr 120hz, so it's basically limited to HDMI 2.0b resolutions. B9 Still supports allm, qms, vrr etc.

I would definitely get the C9 over the B9. if you care about looks the E9 has a glass screen but otherwise same display quality. Don't forget TV speakers are crap so do budget for at least a soundbar if not an AVR with 5.1 speakers.

Note the sky offer if you will use it is better as you move up the range.
£1149 in currys with code btetvsave100.

Also i see people asking, the c9 gets a lot brighter than the b9 from my research.

I have Perkbox with work and I get 7.5% off at Curry's... So it'd be £1067... I'm going to have to bite!

I heard from various sources it was only a tad brighter, do you have any proof or figures that it's a lot brighter? Thanks

Yep rtings.com/tv/…915

Go down to picture quality and see the peek brightness values. Up to 250 more cd/m2 in some situations. Rtings know their stuff too.

Can't wait The Mrs will be advised that the TV was £500! Otherwise, she'd have my guts for garters.
I'm here if you need me 😁

Had the 55 inch B8,65 inch B8,65 inch B9,65 inch C9 and 65 inch Samsung Q90r,so I know a fair bit.

Not sure I would ever get such an expensive item from Curry's..my last two TVs have been from JL. That is a great price though. I get 7 wowpoints with perksatwork but need to buy gift cards.

What’s wrong with curry’s? Is their customer service bad?

Is the difference in brightness between b9 and c9 noticeable in normal use?

In HDR it should be.
There is a bit of extra brightness with the C9

Just wanted to say thank you for alerting me to this. Managed to get an £800 refund thanks to you which has gone towards my new LG C9! My upgrade from a KS7000 to an LG C9 cost £267! Bloody bargain.

No worries. I found it by chance when I couldn't get smart things working only to find out this is why so using something else instead given I traded in my ks7000 for a refund against my C9 as well in November.

I hope these companies continue to miss sell I bought mine from Richer Sounds, and it's not the retailer that loses out, it's Samsung.

I bought this on the Currys £1149 deal and just wanted to comment that the sound on this TV is fantastic straight from the TV speakers, so much so I have now removed my soundbar. Unless you're really fussy I think most would be impressed with the sound on this particular TV. Great TV btw well impressed!!!

Coming from a basic 5.1 sound system, denon x2300 with monitor bronze speakers and sub, I didn't like the sound of the TV but it was better than my older 55" Samsung it replaced. But as my speaker upgrades are likely to cost more than the TV I do expect a difference
Just purchased this from Richer Sounds with 6 year guarantee for £1129. They matched RGB directs price of £1249 with the code TV100 (£100 off) plus a further £20. 🔥

Nice one! Well worth it. Currently got one mounted to my wall as we speak... along with the LG SK9Y soundbar! I believe Richer Sounds were also doing 50% off the soundbar if you buy a TV with them.

I'm not an expert with sound if I'm honest, it's my second soundbar and a significant upgrade. To me, it sounds as powerful and as bassy as I need it to be. Plus, i like buying products that are part of the same ecosystem My setup below:
