Is this different to the Xiaomi one? Not heard of Huami before

It's the same thing. Strictly speaking, there isn't a Xiaomi Amazfit. Huami is a subsidiary of Xiaomi

Have a bip already. Very happy with it but have been tempted by a GTS since launch so waiting on a price I can't resist!

I ordered a GTS from Amazon Marketplace in early February for £90 but it never came. I got my money back straight away once I kicked of the refund process. You need to be careful who you buy from. I ended up getting one (UK stock) from the Amazfit Store on Amazon for £112, it came the next day, highly delighted with the watch.

I see, thanks for the info. This looks good. Battery life is definitely the big selling point. I used to have a smart watch )can't think what the brand was, 30 day battery life with an e-ink display. Was great, then Fitbit bought the company and all the support and app updates stopped.
I don't understand why they don't all adopt the same battery tech. I know gps etc is a big drain but typical 3 days with most of the big names is pretty pathetic.
I can't seem to get the price, comes up as £83

It seems the trend is moving towards watches that can almost stand alone with the need to always have the phone close by which is a shame as that has a massive effect on the battery life.
I had one thought it was great but it made me want more features so i upgraded to a Pace which had onboard music. Pace is great but the Bip was far better at getting a GPS lock... Dont know if that is common or varies from watch to eatch
When is the bip S out?
How does the sleep monitoring work compared to newer and more expensive watches?
My total price came to £37.95 so even better

Would recommend. Two years on, still happily using mine every day. The battery life will of course depend on how many activities you track. I also find it varies based on the watch face you use.

I loved this to start with, but drawbacks are coming out of the woodwork for me.

After 3 months, compared to two different fitbits over 3 years.

Battery life, amazing.

GPS, great, though no strave

Heart rate, lower than my fitbit by at least 10, and daily lowest heart rate reported as 45. This must be completely made up.

Sleep, only records one sleep a day. I fall asleep in the afternoon for an hour, fitbit always gets that, this has never recorded it.

Steps, it counts far fewer than my fitbit ever did, several thousand, don't like to judge but my phone was always very near my fitbit count, this is not.

Now the worst bit, 3 years of a fitbit I never got a rash, I developed a rash on my wrist, quite a bad one that blistered. I changed it and switched to my right side to see if it was trapped dirt, I'm now getting that same rash.

I think I might be giving this up.
