Funny you should say that .. I was kind of thinking the same thing too ..... lol.

the star 9800 at the same price is far superior amazon.co.uk/gp/…3U/ there's UK stock price £141.98

must also add that for under 86 quid you can get this amazon.co.uk/Fox…SA/ (similar to star 9800 same soc etc but clocked lower and 1gb ram but amazing value)

amazing value, I owned the star 9800 and it's quick, battery ok, screen looked 1080p to me but is 1280 x 720, pure android. Next to an S4 it held it's own - shame I lost it!

more I have read into it the 86 quid Foxnovo S7189 this is the best bang for buck phone I've seen, rooted with custom roms too forum.xda-developers.com/sho…432

If true it's a shame but nothing showed up in Malwarebytes for me so that's surprising to hear. It's been rooted by the way forum.xda-developers.com/sho…548

The S7189 I purchased from Amazon had the infected Play store app.
I rooted the phone and removed the app but the new 'clean' Play store app keeps crashing which means I now have to download apps to my tablet then transfer to the phone (PIA).

I have this phone. Got it a month ago in black,
Great phone, it isn't 4G but does have NFC. It also has a MicroSD card slot as well which i've put a 32GB card into.
Comes with a UK waranty and the camera is pretty good for the price.

The price has now been reduced to £129 @ Amazon - so a slightly better deal now than a month ago
