Huawei Ascend P6 £11.99 per month. 500 Minutes, unlimited texts and 250mb data, on Orange. same price as Samsung S3 but can't decide which is the better phone (any guidance?). Both the Cheapest I can find.

the P6 is a really beautiful phone but I found it to be very sluggish. The processor inside it isn't great and the Huawei front-end doesn't help either as it seems to use a lot of system resources. I found that the device got incredibly hot at the back to the point that I couldn't touch it. The display is also very poor in sunlight, and it only has 8GB of system storage for apps. I manage fine with that on my Moto G but you might want to store a few games on there, and it won't stretch as far as the 16GB on the S3. It also probably won't see any more updates. It is a much nicer piece of hardware to hold than the S3 though if that counts for anything!

not interested and not voted. but just wanna say thanks for that info and taking the time to write it...it's informative. thanks.

I have the phone and I'd say it's fantastic.
beautiful design and not just a sheep follower for people who won't buy anything than galaxy s series or iPhone .
user interface is unique user friendly and very customisable... I went from using a rooted phone to using this without feeling the need to root
spec for the price tag is good deal for money.
camera is excellent.
only disappointing thing is the lack of 4g

I love all the variety of handsets available and the choice people have but I really wish people wouldent make out that if u have an iPhone, your some sort of sheep. It's as valid a choice as not having an iPhone. I chose my phone because it appeals to me, not to be trendy.

Wouldn't recommend it! I bought it from Carphone when it was 17pm, but I sold it in the first month on ebay
It's not a very bad phone, very slim and stylish, battery was ok for 2-3 days
But the worst part is that, even if it's a quad core with 2 gb of ram, it performs worse than a Galaxy S3 because of the heating problem.
If you play anything on it, the first 2-3 minutes it's fine, but when it starts overheating you can't even hold it and it starts to get very very very sluggish.

I would agree with comments above. the over heating is a huge issue to the point where it is worrying. the other thing is the huawei skin is quite childish in appearance, laggy and uses too much resource.

battery life was probably the poorest I have seen on a phone of this spec too.
