Yes, its just a SIM card at the end of the day as long as your phone is unlocked it will work
Also if ppl just want the router, they can sign up to the 1 month rolling contract which make the cost just £89 with 1 month unlimited data. Then can put smarty £18.75 sim, vodafone unlimited data , retention three sim etc
@iceburnmarko £552? That's sooo expensive, cold from me!

Only joking, glad you managed to get this posted in the end. Hot! And I'll be scanning the comments...

Know nothing about huawei b535 or nothing about free upgrade ?

Annoying.

Looking to try this out when my Plusnet contract expires.
The three network is too congested and my home WiFi has become unusable over the last month. I've spent hours ok no the phone trying to find a solution. I used to think Three was the company that gave the best value for money compared to all my other monthy outgoings. Now I'm looking to take my business elsewhere.

Router is unlocked so can take the 30 day contract, and if still congested give notice, and go to for example vodafone unlimited data.
If you also a three customer, three mobile on b535 are giving £5 off line rental. So if sign up to the 24 months it free and only £18 a month. , £23 a month over 12 months or £25 per month rolling. Plus the £70 on top, make 24 month a deal steal.

This pay for one month idea to get the hardware + the unlimited smarty deal + a couple of cheap LTE aerials off eBay = no more rip off internet charges and blistering speeds for all connected to it!

If you have a mifi or cpe with your sim stuffed in it, get some external kit and point it to the "opposite" phone mast you are getting your static three signal from

EE doesn't do unlimited data
Jake4_23/08/2019 14:41

EE doesn't do unlimited data

Or one u know of... but yes set aside if bt / ee does unlimited data, you can put your ee 100gb data in it. (One unlimited he might be talking about is one with passes.)
OK so after a lengthy phone call and a Web chat they are not giving this router out for free. I told them about the article stating the upgrade and they said there is some crossed wires. They are giving it as an option for new customers over the B311s router. But if you are an existing customer they won't upgrade you for free even If you have signal problems as I do. The best she could do was tell me to ask in store if the could sell me the router outright to replace my old one as they don't have the ability sell me one over the phone without a new contract being signed.

They probably haven't talked to the forigen call center yet, if you contact them and you say that your getting poor reception but you get better from your phone (say there's 4g+ in your area - that means carrier aggregation, the old router doesn't support it) to customer relations and they'll offer you a free upgrade to one of the newer routers.

Apparently the problem is with the Huawai Router which is faulty and needs an update from the company. Three do not know when this update will be released.

On three branded say B311 the RJ11 is disabled. So if you plug a landline into it, you can't use minutes to make calls / receive calls on the number.

Ah I get you now.
Is there a solution or workaround to get it working or an alternative way to make calls?
