Don't need to sign up for a contract to get this price. Picked one straight off the shelf and took it to the till. Half the price compared to Amazon. Popped in an EE PAYG SIM and it worked straight away.

This supports up to 150Mbps 4G, and is pretty nippy on EE where I am.

Available to reserve in-store on the website. Had a quick look and there are some in the following locations:

Leicester
Witney
London - Old Kent Road
London - Kensington High Street
Newport
Portsmouth
Oldham
Birmingham - High Street
Edinburgh
Kirkcaldy
Kinnaird
Livingston

I'm sure there are more, but I ran out of ideas of places to search!

I picked up from Southampton, which was one of the stores that said it wasn't available, but there were definitely a couple on the shelf at the time. It was worth the stroll for the price.

There were some of the Huawei E589 4G on the shelf as well. Same price, £59.97.

Is this model better?

How does thing work, I am guessing it's a 4g mobile router which created a wifi hotspot for other devices.Do other devices need to be 4g enabled? also how much does it cost per month and what is the data rate for the on going charge?

Is it better than the Alcatel one thats £10 more but domes with a sim and 6GB included??

Website listing states it is from £16 monthly with 30 days notice to cancel.

Have both E5332 which is 3G only and this E5776 which is much better as 4G and double the battery capacity.

Alcatel Y800 should still be for 24.99. I have posted that deal last week, after seeing price increase on this.

Easy to unlock for 99p off eBay just type unlock code for e5776. It will work with all 4guk ops but need to be sim 4g enabled offer as i have all big 4 ops 4g signal but 3 it doesnt allow to connect using 4g will try o2 and Vodafone when i get sim

the costs seem expensive when paying monthly!

I paid £25 a few weeks ago for this same device on the same deal from Currys after seeing the tip here on HUKD.

You don't have to. The cost is just for the hardware. You can use whatever SIM you want.

That was on contract though, wasn't it? I'm sure I read at the time that you had to give 30 days notice to cancel?

Yep - good point. So £25+£16 (pay for 1 month).
This SIM Free deal does look better then (no credit check etc.). Adding heat.

I bought the same today.. It is not SIMFREE.. I put a vodafone 4G sim and it said Invalid SIM.. It seems I'll have to buy unlock code from Ebay..

There should be a reason why they called this "EE" Huawei.. blah blah..
