Cult hero of the Android mid range... Absolutely gob-smacked when I saw the price tag. Released in 2016 but for this value it's still a bargain.

Arguably one of the prettiest phones of all time

Let's go...
If anyone goes for this and is looking for a case, avoid the Spigen Rugged Armor, it's too loose and won't protect your phone (broke my screen in it).

I'm currently using the Terrapin which is okay, better than the Spigen.

I tried few cases and found this one to be the best, matches the colour nicely, cost me £1.99 some time ago amazon.co.uk/gp/…c=1

Let's go...
Got mine around this price a few months ago on the Sainsbury's deal. Great phone/camera and still good at this price taking the age into account.
Had I not bought a xiaomi note 4 back end of last year I would have been all over this!
good phone but it will not have newest android #oreo
About the right price I think. I paid 235 for the Huawei P9 6 months ago and this is almost as good a phone. As others have said, unlikely to get further software updates.

Mine's upgraded to 7.0 so not that far behind
Great phone, I have the mate 10 pro and I upgraded from the Honor 8. To be honest other than the size of the phone and a slight camera upgrade I can't notice much difference for the huge price gap.
Great find OP. Heat

It's on Nougat, so not too bad. P9 is definitely better but this has an IR Blaster and the fingerprint sensor is also a button which is really useful.
Love mine, great looking when new. Does scratch quite easily but performance is amazing. Battery is starting to perform poorly after just over a year of heavy use though, probably expected nowadays.

Is it as good as my Lenovo P2?
Absolutely love this phone, but have noticed my battery performance fall off a cliff lately. After only medium to light usage all year. Probably make me think twice about honor phones going forward, which is a shame cause I do love this phone
Just bought the Honor 9 (great phone) but would have had this deal if it was around last month.

Mine did the same a year and the battery is pretty poor , my honor 4x was similar.
It also cracked very easily.
I was an avid Apple user until I got this phone in March, 2017 and I’m so glad I made the change over - lots of goodies on this device! Wasn’t aware about it not being able to get Oreo, but would definitely recommend.
Great phone, but if you were my friend of 20 years I'd recommend the iPhone X

Sorry I forgot it's a friend I trust, admire and respect.

So Pixel 2.
I broke my honor 8 (twice actually).
'Upgraded' to a Samsung S8 and prefer the honor 8. The finger print scanner on the S8 is crap. Thank feck it was free.

This is better.

I disagree but that's my opinion.

it will !
As an iphone user, who cant wait for his phone to give up so i can make the switch, whats the deal with android os updates? Why do they pick and choose which phones they allow updates?
Was going to get this but ended up getting the mate 10 pro instead. Would still recommend this in 2018. Researched a lot and used a friend's old one for a while.
Wouldn't get this now though. Probably better spending an extra £33 and get the HTC Ultra for £233 when it comes back into stock at Amazon de.

It's up to the manufacturers own development team. I've had the Honor 8 for about a year and it's the best phone I've ever owned. It was my first Android after a few iPhones.

True convert never going back to iPhone. Still a Mac fan though. My Macbook Pro is tha nuts.

I've always used Google products and never used iCloud so the switch was natural.

This is a great deal but I doubt it will get anything more than security updates now.

This is a steal for £200. And I recommend the TUDIA Ultra Slim case available on Amazon.
What's the battery on this phone like? I never trust them reviewers. Bought Samsung s7 before and was promised a great battery life, barely lasted a day. My Lenovo P2 gets charges 2-3 times a week with heavy use.
Thanks, ordered.
I've ordered. Upgrading from a Oneplus 2.

That battery life is brilliant. I remember walking into the 3 store to buy one and they were out of stock. The girl behind the counter offered to order one into store for me and I declined. Then they stopped selling them a month later.

I got an Xperia X in the end on a deal found on here for about half the price of the P2, so not the end of the world, but I do wish for that kind of battery life at times.

The Xperia X isn't too bad for battery with the saver options though. I'm probably not classed as a heavy user though.
Looking for a phone for my mum. She likes my Xiaomi mi5s but I don't fancy the shit I would get if it broke. Looked at the Nokia 6 . Looking to pay 160 -200 . Im leaning for this . Have I missed any other phones
Have had this since June from the Sainsbury deal. Let me know if any questions

Great advice thanks, I recently bought the mate 10 pro and wasn't convinced it was worth £550 so sending it back, I'll happily try this at less than half the price, I'm looking to replace a Moto Z which is a lovely phone but the battery life is impossible to live with even with the battery mod.

Hahaha, stalker. I got it in 2016. If buying a phone in 2018 you do not want bezels.
Better then the HTC Ultra U?
