I spoke to Three yesterday to try and cut a deal. I was told to call back on our after 23rd March as the phones will be on offer. Guessing the P20 will drive down the price from around this time. Good find, meant to be an AMAZING phone.

P20? I have the P9 for the last 20 months, how can they be on the twenty?

So is this better than the S8/9 or Oneplus 5T?

The camera is very good, on a par with the S7 Edge, the one issue is if you use video a lot, I don't, it doesn't have the same stabilisation as the Samsung so you will see that you are walking. Battery life is excellent, with my old Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge I would have to charge it during the day but with the Mate 10 Pro I have never yet got below 50% for the whole day. The EMUI takes a bit of getting used to and there are some niggling little things like you can't order apps alphabetically if you delete or add one, which annoys my OCD side. But I have to say the more I use it the more I like it, also helped that I got £10 cashback from TCB and £40 Amazon vouchers making it £479 which will do me, there may be some Huawei promo's about now but I'm not sure. Also on the plus side it comes with a screen protector already attached which solves the pain in **** it normally is to put one on and it comes with a clear case oh and the 2 Year warranty is real bonus, just hope I never have to use it

Been this price for some time now in different places but still a good phone, brought one yesterday
Been £529 for about a month now at most places.
Waiting for next price drop b4 purchasing....
Same price at very, amazon, cpw etc. But still voted hot coz it's a good price
I'd imagine there's a drop around the corner, with the P20 Pro on the way. Hot for the price all the same, a whole lot of phone for the money 😄

Yep just swapped my OnePlus 5T for this phone. Camera is much better than 5T's and yes EMUI takes a bit of getting used to but at least you can have an app drawer still. Oh and it has a IR blaster so you can change the tele or Sky with your phone
Wait it out for 2018 phones. No bezels and cheapness on the way lads.

Pointing to samsung + xiaomi

From whence did you bring it, good sir?
Have one beast of a phone!
Phew. Thought this was going to be a price drop, after me biting a couple of weeks ago. Great phone. Had the Galaxy S5, then the S7. Was waiting to see if the S9 tickled my fancy when it was launched, but decided to go with this instead.

Looks like I have it for £439. Bought for £489 from CPW, with a £15.50 per month, min 1 month contract. Managed to cancel that within the first 14 days (wasn't a seamless process, but got it confirmed in the end). Got £50 tracking on TCB.

Currys, get 8% off their vouchers through work scheme so got it for just under £490
Any thoughts on how this phone compares with Honor View 10?
Bought one last week with a 21 month warranty for £400, I was amazed the guy let me have it for that price, brilliant phone

Where did you get this from
I briefly had the Mate 10. EMUI is alright. The aggressive ram management made my smart watch unusable. My home button seemed less responsive then back and recents and I had hitching intermittently.

It was on the November update but I hear the January update is out now. Maybe that helped

Great phone in many respects, especially battery life. For me one really annoying fault... I have scrolling Widgets on the homescreen, which do not auto refresh, refresh button on the widget also stops working. The problem seems to be with battery management software.
I bought one from Currys last week, but had to return it because one side of the screen was darker on one side and slightly yellow (apparently i was not the only one, as i googled the issue). Letting people know as i think its valid, also, one thing that annoyed me is with certain sim cards (in my case 3) it REBRANDED the whole phone! So every time i restarted it had the 3 splash screen, even after factory resetting. This might be an issue for other people too.

I put in a Tesco mobile Sim card and an small o2 tool appeared (Tesco's network) but was easily dismissed

Great phone

You must have been lucky. Maybe certain networks act differently. With a 3 sim it automatically rebranded and installed 3 apps. I had no choice. Still might be a problem for some people.
Any thought on how the lite compares?
Great phone but has a couple of issues... Bluetooth isn't that stable, casting to screen isn't great often have to reboot to find.. but these are Oreo issues... I just don't know how quick Huawei are to release updates once Google fixes problems...

Great phone, but this is the normal price. Got mine from Carphone warehouse.

Very well. Lots of reviews available. I had the choice of View 10 for £360 or Mate 10 pro for £470 and couldn't warrant the extra £110 for my needs. Camera is slightly better on the Mate and its waterproof with oled screen but the view 10 has a headphone socket and sd expansion both more useful for me. Both use the same screen size, resolution, ram size, storage size, processor, os etc. So it comes down to whether you want a slightly better camera and waterproofing or the ability to expand the storage size.

Does it support nova launcher to reduce the pains of EMUI? I’ve heard mixed things

It does but then you can't use the stock widgets that come with the phone and also if the Nova launcher app updates it resets the default launcher. I've kinda got used to the launcher apart from not being able to 'drag up' on the home screen to open the app drawer.

I thought the same thing myself. Judging from the answer though, it clearly went over his head.
Great phone, camera is fantastic, noticeably better than my old S7 in low light.

Performance isn't as stable as the S7, sometimes apps grind to a halt till I reopen. The interface isn't as polished in some areas as it could be, few layout issues with widgets. I've got Nova Launcher installed which helps.
Good price for the specs on the this phone.

However, I think I'll go with the One Plus 5T. The 128gb version is £500

Dare I ask where you found the View 10 for the 360?
