would have thought the P20 is going priced similar to the samsung S9 maybe a little less.
I have this phone. Great battery life !!!
Any WiFi issues TuShae? I heard a few random comments about small issues

I want the P20 pro but waiting to see what happens to the P10 pro price post 27th

Wait for P20 to buy Mate 10 pro, not wait to buy P20 as price will be really high and 10 pro will be even more cheaper to buy
Huawei is on killing spree to take no 1 crown from Samsung
I like their policy, NO repair, ONLY replacement

I don't think this will drop in price when the P20's announced. This price is already well below retail. Probably won't go up in price though so might be worth waiting.
I love this phone but DAMN why the iPhone prices???? I think Huawei needs a reality check.

It’s not really iPhone prices. Size wise it’s comparable to the 8 plus which starts at £799 for the 64gb version. This is 128gb
Great phone, I easily get 2 days of battery life. One warning, scrollable widgets do not work..... I'm hopeful for a software patch!

yes I get it, but still I meant to say this is WAY too much for a Chinese company to charge for a phone... just looking at what others offer as comparison. Huawei just needs to get their heads out of their arse on this and realise they are NOT Apple or Samsung (both of which are grossly overpriced). There is NO real reason why a phone should cost so much (more than an good spec laptop!!!!). Just sayin...
In what way is this better than the Honor V10 to justify spending an extra £140?

Water resistant, much better screen and much better camera. That’s about it. It looks a bit nicer too with the glass back but that’s obviously subjective. Whether these things are worth £140 is debatable but comes down to personal choice.

As I said it’s not Apple or Samsung prices. It’s significantly cheaper than both yet is still true flagship spec and performance.
The fact that Huawei is Chinese is totally irrelevant. The phone itself is far better than plenty of other flagships. Moto is also Chinese but this absolutely wipes the floor with most of their offerings.
Quality hardware costs money. And when you add in the Leica licensing costs and software development you’re not going to get a phone like this for much less money.

simple, if you like it, then just buy it, if you do not have the money, then just go for something else that you feel affordable by yourself. You are somthing like, I love to have a bentley, RR, Landrover, etc, then start swearing at their prices, no one force you to buy them, just go for a Dacia then, if you only have that amount of money.
So. The P20 (and P20 Pro) are out now, and available to be ordered. Anyone care to venture a guess as to how long until the P10 Pro gets a significant price drop?

I doubt it will drop significantly. I can already be picked up for half the cost of the P20 which is a bargain

Where? Cheapest I can see is £510 with a discount code through AO. £520-530 through most others.
The P20 is current retailing for £600 & the Pro is £800 at CW.

If it's selling for £300 or even £400 somewhere UK based, please, show me the way and I'll snap it up.

The P10/P10 plus you asked about has regularly been £300-400. The mate 10 pro is unlikely to drop much in price as it’s still current. The P20 is a replacement for the P10, not the mate 10

Doh.
Head swimming from various models. They all sound the same. I was indeed referring to the Mate 10 Pro, and have spent the evening convinced that the P10 Pro was the successor.
