That's more like you
I think xavierluther's Mate 20 Pro Deal is better, BUT, of course, you don't get Amazon's customer service.

I also said this, on that thread:

I haven't had a good "scour" of ebay yet, but xsdirect is selling the "Genuine Official Huawei Mate 20 Pro Smart View Flip Cover Case Black 51992696" (some sellers seem to state "Genuine Huawei" rather cheekily, when they're not) case for £7.99 or Best Offer. Seem to get good Feedback too.

I like the flip cases that "wake" the screen when you open them, (think it's a magnet), my official ZTE case has this and it's really handy.
38071513.jpg38071513.jpgI'm really gonna miss my Axon 7, I've loved this phone, best I've ever had.

PS: Screen protectors, not sure yet. Apparently glass protectors affect the acoustics of the "ultrasonic" fingerprint sensor on the display and you're better with the thinner plastic protectors (going by Huawei forum members' comments, anyway)

This twin pack says it's case friendly (so doesn't curve and has a gap around the edges), some generic listings of these say they are Fingerprint Scanner compatible as well (?).

Three pack from an Amazon seller for £1.29 (!) and on Prime but, one bad review (though I don't know if the negative review is because it doesn't cover the edges - if I'm using a case - that's what I want!).

I am really humming and hawing over this!

I nearly bought a P20 Pro but missed the 4Gadgets offer a few weeks ago.

I purchased this THEN I saw Mrswitch (thanks!) mentioned the Mate 20 X bundle offer (SmartView case and pen) on Amazon Warehouse (with 20% off).

As it has better speakers, (lesser display though, even though it's bigger), a pen (which only works with the 20 X), 3.5mm headphone jack, better battery life (due to the 1080p display vs QHD), I went for this. If it had a MicroSD card slot it would be perfect, think Huawei Nano cards are hard to come by cheap.

Third time lucky!

Here we have a discerning customer @Mrswitch

Btw, you're right on screen protectors on new under-the-screen FP scanners - don't get cheap one would be my advice, or just follow someone who has tried/tested it on same model

Just hope Amazon Warehouse don't let me down! It's heartbreaking if it's something you really have your heart set on.
This or xiaomi Mi 9? Advice much appreciated.

This, hands down - but Mi 9 can be had new for about £330, with warranty

I rolled the dice and went for the ebay deal. Voted hot on this deal too.
Definitely a lot of phone for the money. 2018 but still one of the very best ever made. Build quality is better than both Samsung and iPhone.

Paid £700 for my first one and £420 for my second one. Brilliant phone. Love the s10 design but just can't go back to Samsung UI which is very laggy in comparison. The Kirin is awesome fast.
