What phone do you use ? No doubt made in china

Isn't this now last year's phone or is it still state of the art?

It's still very much state of the art. Personally don't see the S10+ being superior in any department to this other than a slightly better screen.

Based in Hong Kong, but seem to be similar to eGlobal Central in that they dispatch from EU-based warehouses & seem to offer the full manufacturer's warranty. Pay with a credit card for best cover.

Made in China is not the same as designed in China, although I agree we shouldn't make nothing in communist China but no company will turn down cheap labour.

Not concerned, just not heard of this particular retailer. Do you advocate them?

I ordered an LG G7 from them a few weeks ago. Ordered on Sunday and delivered by the following Thursday. Phone was shipped from Luxembourg. Phone is euro version and came with a UK socket converter. I'd recommend them based on my experience.
So if anything goes wrong ( green screen issue etc) you are guaranteed a replacement from huawei? 2 years cover from them?
Seems a cracking price considering other places charging £699/799

I'm almost sure they'll use a credit card gateway pay site like Sage Pay, the only trouble is you don't find this out until you actually pay. Many credit cards will not offer their usual refunds when you use a third party site to pay. May be better using PayPal.

A company funded by the Chinese government. What could go wrong.

People on here are too stupid to realise what’s going on with this company. Too blinded by cheap phones to play candy crush on.
I think I will wait for the P30 Pro which is supposed to have a 5x zoom.
i bought one on monday. just a waiting game now when i'll get it as they dont specifically tell you how long it'll be.
i'll update this thread once I get it.

no point worrying about grey market on this phone as Huawei is Chinese anyway

615 is an amazing price so if that warranty claim holds up i'll be a happy chappy... i'll see i guess.
quick edit.... looks like they've shipped it with a UPS tracking number... so not that a long a wait hopfully.

With the phone's IMEI or serial number you can check warranty via this Huawei link - it will also tell you in what countries &/or region it is supported: consumer.huawei.com/uk/…ry/ (mentions only serial number there, but works with the IMEI too)

If there's any doubt regarding the warranty, you can email Huawei support about it via this link: consumer.huawei.com/uk/…us/

Here's an example of what you'll see...

I've had pretty much every high end phone on the market (including the S10+) and the Mate 20 Pro wasn't all that i was made out to be.

Speakers are naff/not very loud, camera has issues with video recording, doesn't even record in 4k 60fps,battery was no better than on my Note 9,face unlock was a bit crap to and plenty more things that i can't be bothered to go into details about.

I have made videos covering some of the issues,so i am someone who actually tells from personal experience and backs up their claims with video proof.

Problem with the Mate 20 Pro was that Huawei pretty much paid off reviewers/gifted them early phones and in return the big Youtubers get loads of views and in turn money. And let's face it those YouTubers ain't going to bite the hand that feeds them, otherwise they won't get fed again at the next Huawei event,if you know what i mean.

All that said I'm not enjoying the S10+ as much as i thought i would, think i might go back to the Note 9 for now,but IMO the S10+ is definitely superior to the Mate 20 Pro,but then again it costs £300 more than this deal.

I’ve noticed they give out the phones to you tubers and instagrammers with a decent following. Yet most seem to stick with their iPhones in most of their daily posts. See what the P30 Pro looks like, but doubt I’m ready yet. That Mate X foldable though
