Great price, cheers OP. Any idea on the warranty period, I've had a look but couldn't find it?
Why do you keep showing the discount off a new phone... This one is a refurb. A new one can be had for £750 in any case (not £799) currys.co.uk/gbu…703
Please compare savings on like for like to give a true reflection of the deal being offered. Thanks

Would you choose this over the X?
Yes what's difference between this and the x please?
Is this the dual sim version?

100%.. purely screen size for me. Pro is perfect size .. camera quality is excellent and battery life two days with no issues. Fingerprint scanner much more responsive that the OnePlus 6t. Face unlock is rapid in any event. UI is an issue for some but I don't mind it. The Samsung I'm currently using is good but the Mate 20 Pro is something else and at this price point a no brainer for me

I'm on the edge, the x is appealing more, for the exact reason you don't want it, the size.
I'd like to see the real life size of the X .. all I think of is when I had my 7 inch Nexus 7 tablet years back..that seemed HUGE at the time .. the 5000mah battery on this is a massive draw though

I bought the X from BT and even though I liked it was just that little bit too big and I haven't got small hands. Had to send it back in the end, shame really if it was 6.5 or 6.6 it would have been perfect, plus it doesn't have a curved screen, which personally I really don't like, also I find the finger print scanner on the back much better than in screen. I feel like I'm almost talking myself back into getting the X again................£509............hmmmmm

On the back is definitely my preferred fingerprint sensor.. Maybe you should try it again and send it my way if it doesn't work out for you

Have you got a link for the X? I can't see it via the link above (only new). Cheers.
It expired earlier, just as I was about to buy

I'm very interested to know what these refurbs are like. The prices are attractive but what I don't like is they give zero information I can see on any kind of grading system they might use. :/

Has anyone got any experience of what they are sending out? It's no bargain if what you get is the kind of battered, scratched, "Grade C" POS that some sellers knock out but are more upfront about the condition.

Also, another poster mentioned that in their T&Cs is what amounts to a restocking fee if you send them something back.

Thanks very much.
I'm in the situation right now of not knowing exactly which phone I definitely want - but I have a shortish shortlist, this being one of them - and where to get it. It'll very likely be a refurb but whether that is from here, ebay or elsewhere I just don't know yet. No need to rush, though, I suppose. There's lots of phones and lots of sellers I don't need it right now.
Just received via DPD (24 hour delivery)..Phone is as new ..well packaged with all original accessories and box. Returns accepted within 14 days for a full refund if required. Can't fault the service so far

It was this one or the Samsung S9 Plus 128GB in the final tossup and I went with the Samsung @ £419. There was a couple of reasons, really.

£400 was pretty much the absolute top end of what I was prepared to pay for any phone, so going past it slightly I could just about bring myself to do. Going more than £100 over was too far, even for what is probably a better camera.

However, that aside, I received the S9 this morning and it is absolutely immaculate. The only things that would mark it out as not being brand new are the broken security seal on the original box - which has all the accessories - and there is no peelable film screen protection but I don't know if it had that originally anyway. So assuming it works, I've not tested it yet, I'm very happy. The phone is as new and over £200 less than the cheapest equivalent I've seen, if you discount the eBay grey imports.
