Better camera, better battery life to name but two. Obviously just comparing phones and not warranty situation etc.

128gb storage right? Problem is that's just not enough for me - power downloader anything less than 4K my eyes bleed!

7t pro I wouldn't mind but OnePlus have the worst release cycle in the history of manufactured goods. You could buy the phone and before you've opened the box they have a release date announced for the next iteration - nonsensical

Yeah, agree with that, 128gb definitely enough for me, but now have my eyes pointed toward the LG G8X, looks insane, and bigger screen (two screens) than the 20x

I saw that - the one that comes with a screen in a case right?

1. Problem with that one, for me, is the border between the 2 screens is huge. I compared to MS surface duo and I can't handle LGs border in-between

2. The screen consumes 20% of the phones battery

3. The screen in the case has a notch just for aesthetic purposes and nothing more! (Mirror the phone)

4. You can use another case so how robust is this case with the screen?

Yeah, the battery was the biggie for me as well, a 4000mAh powering all of that isn't going to last, yeah that border may get annoying as well

Apparently the g8x has quad DAC according to flossy Carter anyway.

So does the V30+ - annoyed I had to buy special buds to make it worth while - can't be walking London with decent cans on!

They'll take everything I have, inc. clothes off my back - socks an all; and my oyster pass. So the buds look common but have a 50 impedance level to make use of the quad dac

Only 1 company makes earbuds with that spec...

So sorry, you probably don't realise how many PM's I get on a daily basis, I'm not ignoring you, but it does get quite hard to answer all and everyone, I do try though, so apologies again.

How do you think the g8x battery would hold up?

Really can't say - all on your usage - I'm a super power user, video calling, hotspotting, bluetoothing, browsing, NFCing downloading and at times connected to a monitor for movies

I'm battering the mate 20x and u know the battery is awesome at 5K. G8 comes in at 4K battery - if you're not caining your battery then you'll be ok, I guess, but one thing I have learnt is reviews and the real world don't go hand to hand. That screen will be drain and if you're not using it but it's always there connected using the phones battery then that's going to have an impact overall

Yeah, exactly my thinking, I'm a really heavy user, currently on 36% from a full charge being removed at 6am. Will probably have to give the g8x a miss unfortunately, cheers mate.

I know, I'm tempted to get it for £380 on ebay, but have a feeling they'll give us 15 maybe even 20% off near black friday. 🤞

To be fair mate, the most they ever offer is a £75 discount, so whether yours was 10%/15% or 20%, you still only ever get £71/£75 off.
SClub06/11/2019 21:05

Bit rude. Are you paying for this service?

This has nothing to do with you you also just wanted to point out that I have written to to him three different occasions and never got an answer strangely straight away I've got 3 replies from him.
I got nothing against the person it's because everyone thinks he's an expert on mobile phones I wanted his opinion that's all oh and for your information I have apologised to him
