Nice to see the uk price coming down tbh, but still too much.
I guess it's cold because of missing Google services. I for one think, let Huawei go on their own, and give us something that can compete with the 2 Americans i.e. Google and iOs
Surely the duopoly needs competition.

Only problem is that Google has such a head start and everything works so well. I also think that they will (rightly) look to block anything that even remotely resembles their code/product which will just cover everything in red tape and delay Huawei's progress?

Surely the whole point of linux like software is it has a lot of derivatives? So you can make something uniquely yours. Huawei have to start from somewhere just like Google did. They can red tape all they want, but it's high time another person enters into the arena. I know Microsoft tried, but never did enough to give incentives to developers, so did BlackBerry.
Until Huawei can keep up with the amount of apps and support that you get from Google or iOS, it's pointless getting a Huawei.
I have the Huawei Mate 20 pro, unfortunately, although a brilliant phone I wont be buying another newer generation
whilst they don't have Play

Happy to bow to your knowledge, mine was personal speculation, I hope they can work it all out, Huawei stuff represents good value and I’d happily have their tech over Samsung or Apple

You and me both, the cameras 📸 are out of this world. I have a Note 10+ 5g, decent camera, but when I used the Mate 20x 5g camera,I just asked myself why can’t cameras be like this. Only got rid of it as it was a huge screen, now waiting for the prices to settle then attack. Either the Xiaomi mi10 pro or the P40 pro 5g.
With Mate 40 Pro due in the next 2 months or so buying this now makes no sense unless another O2 Refresh deal for like £300.

The huawei mobile services have been around for quite a while, i had the P9 years ago and that had most of what huawei have improved today. It is also worth noting that in China they do not use Google services at all so they already have millions of users. They are not in the same position as Microsoft and blackberry. True that there is loads more to improve but this should put things into perspective a little ...
