Do you think so? For a premium build I can see anything else with such a good spec at this kind of price. Happy to be wrong though.

i am asking since i dont know much about laptops. i just bought an acer aspire 5 for £500. it is an I5 quad core 8th gen, intel uhd graphics, 8gb ddr4 and 512gb ssd. 1080p 15" screen with a finger print scanner. the laptop i just bought seems better for the price, to me this seems like gamer laptop/pc prices. but i honestly dont know much about laptops.

Unfortunately same reason as some spend 2k on fruit based alternatives - build quality, extras and so on.

Also it’s a 3:2 screen ?

The i5 version does not have a touchscreen. I was disappointed when I got mines! Other than that, it's an excellent laptop.
Mmm, still high in MY opinion
These are nice, MacBook build, but they've been £750 on Amazon brand new almost 18months ago....

Probably a good price for this model, but you could get a 10th gen Lenovo s740 for a pretty similar price....
