    I have this tablet. It's great. It has sky go, Netflix prime and Disney all on and working. Very good price for a decent laptop.

    This thing has ridiculously good speakers. Bbc iplayer, netflix and all the usual apps can be had quite easily and this is on par with the higher priced Samsung tab 7. So we'll worth it if you want a entertainment device

    If this is anything like the matepad 10.4 I own then Netflix and Prime Video will both play in SD which looks absolutely horrible on a 2K screen.
    I seen a link for a modded Netflix apk in a thread for a different tablet the other day and it plays in 1080p using that.
    I don't use Prime so no idea if there is a work around for that.
    Despite being Widevine L3, Disney+ plays in HD no problems with the standard apk.

    If anyone does go for this, there's a decent work around for no Google Play Store. Some apps say they need the Google framework but work anyway. Some don't work at all.

    netflix,prime etc.. does run only in SD some apps were available via amazon app store ,but huawei updater keeps asking to update them via their petal search via third party APK's which i havent done

    I'm guessing that's partly to stop the Chinese government tracking them. If you aren't a Chinese billionaire or anti CCP activist then I wouldn't worry.
    If you are non Chinese billionaire or anti government activist then you probably safer with huawei. You will definitely be getting tracked using apple.

    My mate 20 pro has a broken screen. Does this have full phone functionality? if I put my sim could I use it as an oversize everyday phone?
