Ordered this and the Asus Zenpad 9.7 which is £199 at John Lewis, the Asus is the better tablet for the price, faster, better specs and better picture so this is going back.

Firstly that's just scaremongering.

Secondly that's US related and thirdly that article is warning the politicians to not use the phones.

Same price in Tesco btw
Nah, runs on Huawei's own OS. Would be OK, if it was pure Android - and as others have pointed out, it's not much of a match for Samsung Tab's...
Had mine since November. Love it

I'd take this over a Samsung Tab A. On the other hand, for £209, why not pick up a Tab S2 refurb?
After seeing the reviews I wouldn't touch this with a bargepole. Too much undeletable bloat ware and I'm easily irritated
Asus Zenpad 3S takes it to the cleaners
Hardware good, software bad.

That's the US government telling their people we are the only ones who can spy on you.
Does amaze me how a government which has been repeatedly shown to be spying on pretty much everyone can complain about a government that might be spying on everyone. To me it sounds like they’re just upset because the Chinese have got better tech.
Even if it wasn't in the press, they would still spy on you.
The government does not trust it's own citizens.
