I can recommend cheaper Huawei T5 with 3gb of ram and Huawei M5 with 4gb of ram but better wait to black friday. Price of T5 will be about £100-120 and M5 £175-200. They are 10 inches but there is 8 inch version of M5 as well.
For me, the USBC on the M5 be micro usb on the t5 is the deciding factor
I was initially going for a Lenovo Tab 4 plus. Amazing tablet but very poor support from android. The M5 is next on list

Yes, I have it and it's ok for basic use but certainly showing its age now. The processor is weak so it's fairly sluggish to use but it does have a nice screen and decent speakers (and a headphone jack!) so its great for YouTube, TV catch-up and basic games but be aware that Netflix only runs in SD. If you can stretch to the M5 it's a much better tablet all round.
The M5 8.4 is £204 .

I'm sure it's been ~£199 elsewhere so I'm surprised it's a deal of the day. I could be very wrong though.

I think the M5 Lite comes in around £199 usually, but the M5 is much more powerful.

My daughter has the M3 Lite (in this post) and it's a lovely little tablet - the build quality and finish set it apart from other plastic-y tablets in this range. Sure, it might be a little underpowered by the standards of the newest tablets but it's still more than capable for most things as Android app power requirements seem to have plateaued a bit.

At £120, it's a solid choice for a premium looking tablet with medium specs.

I was looking at the M5 for a while but didn't "need" it back when it was ~£230.

Anywhere you can recommend that sells it for a decent price and is legit? The places I was looking at before seem to have discontinued it.

Now, on Amazon. Only the 8.4 version though.

Yeah, I've seen that. Now eyeing up the M3 Lite (from your recommendation), the M5 Lite 10 and M5 8 Lite. Any particular preference? Would be mainly for media playback.

How is it for Roblox? My kids have fire hd8s and those things lag and stutter like no tomorrow.

My kid plays Roblox on it and it looks fine to my eye, but I'm probably not the expert. Roblox always looks like digital vomit to me.

Tbh, for anything with a relatively high processing and caching component like Roblox or Minecraft - the faster the better, so I'd probably recommend a slightly higher performance device.
