A known issue with Huawei is they do not allow you to move apps etc onto an SD card, so not that great an offer

I disagree
I have got the older Huawei M3 tablet and most of my apps are on an SD card and work fine.

So like Mrswitch I disagree.
The picture of the device shows very small side bezels, However the video shows them a lot wider... Which is right?

Haha, I'd say the video at a guess.
Just a pity this doesn't have a headphone jack. If they are going to get rid of it, at least provide a second USB-C.

Could maybe be the 10in model in the pic vs 8in in video.

Honestly, this is such a dealbreaker for me.

You need to enable developer mode by going into 'settings - about phone' and tapping eight times on 'build number', after which you can save apps and app data to sd card. I've got the M5 8.4" and the pic I've attached shows all my apps and app data installed/saved to sd card. Note that I don't have any other data (photos, videos etc) on the sd card. The 36.20gb stored on it is all apps and app data.

Also, I got mine a month ago for £250 from John Lewis with a 3 year guarantee included so I reckon that's a better deal, considering my last two tablets went kaput between year 1 and 3........ fantastic tablet, btw!!

I'm also after a LTE version. Its 110 euros more expensive. Can anyone confirm it it has full phone functionality?

I'm very sure it does. My Mediapad x2 did, and was my phone. That's why I am now going to get an M5 to replace it. Having to use my backup tab, a Chuwi Hi9 pro, at the mo, but it's not really up to being my main phone.

Same here, that's why I tracked down an M3. Stupid decision by Huawei.
It's a good price, But I would pick up the iPad 2018 of your other deal at this price. Even though I'm android fan, I just feel like none of the android tablets compete with iPad (IMO)
Nonetheless good price
Be careful if you're using Bluetooth headphones with this. There's an issue where using Bluetooth and WiFi together causes the WiFi speed to slow massively, something to do with the modem

As a bonus:

If you guys are willing to pay £40ish extra for a 10 inch tablet instead, you can get a Samsung S5e for £270

£379 but you can get £50 off by trading in a Fire HD 7 (eBay for £30) so £359, then sell the free 512gb microsd card you get for preordering for £90 so it becomes 269

I have the iPad 2018
Syedar2 m ago

Which one did you get 32GB or 128GB?

32gb, got it from cex with some vouchers I had, £270 grade A, sounds expensive, but the vouchers were there to use that I purchased, and cost me £200 over time

If you're just after a tablet, I agree.
If you're after such a big phone, like myself and others in this thread, then has to be android.
