Amazing price but as a Huawei product where does this stand in terms of Google/Android support?

Damn this is stonking deal, almost a misprice, with M pen support I really want to buy it!I was after the 4/64gb version but at this price..now tormented between this and Samsung S3 with S-Pen or recent S5e tablet for £250 after cashback..
right after i got M10 from argos:/
It will sell like pies and soon OOS,I can feel it
Please someone tell me how the M-pen on this would compare to the S-pen of the Tab S3 or other Note tabs/phones,please, decisions decisions
Thanks this is an amazing deal
Will Amazon price match this?

@MrSwitch mate you use(d) the M-pen on your Mate X,right?in need of a quick advice, compared to the Note series, is the M-Pen worth on Huawei M5 lite? I used the old Note 10 2012 and note 4 and currently note 9, I was looking at the cheapest Note tab nowadays and found the S3 with S-pen for around £250-70, then saw the S5e tab without pen, now this one..if this huawei is 70-80% good as the Samsung note software wise, I might just buy it..
Managed to resist the Argos Lenovo deal but succumbed to this.
Great post OP!!! And THANKS...
No mention of the M pen support in the descrition or the specs?
Would this be a great upgrade from a Lenovo tab2 a10-70f
This better than the M10?
Thanks OP, bought
Ordered thanks - owee

I can always cancel/return if the pen doesn't work with it.

Great find heat added and ordered thank you

Oh well I found this article/review which explains enough about the M-pen on this tablet;
mynexttablet.com/hua…ew/
well I wouldn't buy if only for its optional pen, as it seems quite limited compared to the S-pen based Samsung tabs..still tempted for its specs for that money

Part of me is tempted to to cancel my order. The M5 Lite 8 is only 50 more and has a significantly better CPU. Saying that, this is just for plex, and web browsing...

2.1 Does the HUAWEI MediaPad M5 series support styluses? Yes, all HUAWEI MediaPad M5 tablets support styluses.

Only the HUAWEI MediaPad M5 Pro (with M-Pen) supports active styluses. You are advised to use the M-Pen that delivered with your HUAWEI MediaPad M5 Pro.

The HUAWEI MediaPad M5 10.8-inch version and HUAWEI MediaPad M5 8.4-inch version do not support active styluses. You can use passive styluses with these tablets.

2.2 What are the differences between an active stylus and a passive stylus? An active stylus needs to be charged, while a passive stylus does not. An active stylus can send signals, supports tilting angles, and features pressure sensitivity, while a passive stylus only works as your finger.

Huawei built quality looks much better, the battery is clearly better. However, the Lenovo comes with Android 9 and I've also got some concerns with how this will work in the future considering no updates from Google and also my understanding is the apps do not work (or do not work well) from the sd card.

This one has android 9 support and it can be downloaded onto it. You can not move apps to the SD card, the screen is IPS which is better than the Lenovos TFT. The CPU is also slightly better from what I can tell and the battery is significantly better. I'd say it is probably a better tablet than the lenovo. TBH The IPS screen a lone makes me say its worth the extra £10 alone. The screen is significantly better, whichis very important for a tablet tbh
