Yeah but the equivalent lenovo doesn't do Netflix in HD
Nice tablet, we have one (admittedly 32GB). If you're not intending to put too many apps on it then this is well worth it.

Is HD on a 10" tablet really a big deal? I know you were sitting further away, but SD on a 32" TV used to be perfectly acceptable.

True, I'm not sure how much of a problem it is, it seems to be sending some of the lenovos customers a bit crazy lol:

Voted hot, I think this is the cheapest price I came across T5. While the HD on Netflix is an advantage lots point out, I do not understand why this is so important. Maybe because I use my tablet ocassionaly, but the full hd Netflix is the last thing I look when buying a tablet, prefer the other specs to be high.

Not only Lenovo customers. When the Lenovo m10 was posted for £99.99, lots of members commented they prefer Huawei due to HD Netflix. I personally dont get it and maybe I will pay a tenner more to have this, but no more than that.
How could they possibly think that slapping some beardo hipster with that hat and shades on the screen would help sell this pad?

Better than a blank display I guess.
This seems like a good price.

Does anyone know what the cheapest UHD display is for a tablet? I had use of an iPad once which was UHD and it was great for RB Digital - i.e. reading magazines.

Personally I'd grab a refurbished or second hand Samsung galaxy tab s2. That's similar price to this and knocks the socks off it.

Would rather have blank display lol

The only thing to be aware of is it won't get anymore major OS upgrades from Samsung. You could install LineageOS or a different rom on it though.

Thanks. I'll only be using it for RB Digital app though, so as long as that keeps running that I'll be ok

I feel you've got a point. I had to get an iPad for work and now I'm kind of stuck in it. Still use Microsoft and Google as a preference in general.

They're undoubtedly excellent and snappy but they're just too restrictive for me.

I have the Galaxy Tab S ... It has an amazing screen. You can get a new or refurbished from ebay very cheap.
It's easy to change battery on it. The Tab S2 is better if your budget can stretch it.

My guess is that Apple & Samsung are cornering the "yuppy" market? Lenovo the "squares" market? Amazon Fire the "chavs" market?

That leaves the bearded hat and shades wearing hipster market for Huawei to tap?
