Was tempted by this earlier today and was going to post it ..however as Huawei don't allow for apps to be on an SD card, 16gb just isn't much these days.
16gb tablets should be banned in 2019
I am the only one who think that tablets are like 2-3 years behind when it comes with technology in them for given price?
There is only handful of tablets available on sale which would have decent spec 4gb+ ram, decent cpu 128gb etc... And actual prices are way more than they should be considering phone prices these days.
I think people got spoiled with all these discount codes, Black Friday and so on. A month ago this one would have gone red hot, now 16GB is not enough...Yes, it can be better, but this is £100. Voted hot!

As above, apps can't be saved on to memory card - (without a custom ROM) so 16gb won't get you very far at all.

And in fact only about 12gb of the 16 will be usable as the system apps and data take up a lot of space.

Fantastic 10 inch tablet for the money, but not if you plan on downloading more than a few apps.

Yes, only briefly and then they hiked up the price. That seller is a scum and I hope he/she is reading this.
They would have sold a lot more at the original price.

Budget tablets peaked with the Hudl 2, 4 years ago.

Samsung kneecap their tablets so they can justify ~£400 for the flagship, Lenovo &Amazon haven’t improved the specs of theirs since the war, Sony gave up, Google basically gave up.
Can anyone please help is the 32gb version of this tablet with 3 gig of ram any good?
Is it quite quick or should I go for the Samsung tab a 2019 model .

The best deal for T5 with 4GB RAM, 64 GB storage is available at Amazon Germany for £150.
Be quick though, the price will go back up.

Absolutely.
Seems the manufacturers are paying lip service to the tablet market, concentrating on phones instead. The technology and specifications in these devices is sorely lacking compared to what is happening with phones.
Hot for the deal though.

i have the 32gb version 3gb ram and i find it is very good. it is a cheap tablet so for me it is fine as i was not looking for anything special and i wasn't going to use it for anything more than watching movies and listening to some music occasionally. i was never going to use its speakers as i watch movies with headphones and i listen to music with my own bluetooth speakers.

so for me it was perfect as a cheap tablet for doing what i want. i have done some browsing on it and it is very fast so there is no worry there. i find the headphone volume to be low so you have to set the media volume to nearly max for a decent sound. the speakers seem OK but i haven't really used it much to be able to comment.

the screen resolution is good, but i would say inferior to my ipad air first generation. the headphone volume on my ipad air is much better. the t5 is very light in the hand, a lot lighter than the ipad. the screen size is bigger than the ipad but the actual tablet size is about the same. however, i haven't really noticed the extra screen size to the ipad when watching movies.

the touch screen is not as spot on as the ipad so it can slip into doing something else, difficult to explain. the precision of the touch sensor is not as accurate as the ipad.

it is a cheap tablet and for its cost it is very good value but if you were to compare it to an expensive tablet, like the ipad air or the ipad pro, or the galaxy s tablet (not the galaxy A tablet) then of course the more expensive tablets will always be better.
