You can install app data to SD without any issue.

I have tonnes of apps and games installed on my 32GB T5 and still have 10GB space remaining.

Sure you can't install the whole app on the SD, but that's slower than internal memory anyway. The important thing is to have the bulk of the apps data on SD, which this tablet does fine.

Hot for warranty, 32gb and Spotify, otherwise I think the Lenovo M10 is a better tablet if you're not bothered not to have Netflix in HD.

They often have the 64gb on Amazon for £140. Just got to be patient

How often if you don't mind, thanks. I kept an eye on the 64GB one for about a year and never seen it for £140. Accoprding to Camelcamel, the cheapest was £160. I think I've seenm it once or twice for £140, but from a different seller and with a code.

You're right, this is why I've decided to go with Lenovo. However, while I think going with the 16GB version of this is not a good idea, 32GB should be enougjh for most of us, you can add movies, pictures, etc on an sd card and keep the apps on the internal memory.

Forgive me. You're correct. The 64gb cheapest is around £169 on Amazon. I was getting confused.

No problem. That one does not only have the benefit of 64GB, it also has 4GB RAM, so better tablet, question is will you pay £170 for it when you can get the 16GB 3GB RAM for £120 and even less sometimes?
I remember now, the cheapest I came across the 64GB was £160. I only came across a better price either on Amazon Germany or on Very, but with a discount only if applying for credit.
And this does not offer multi user support, so not ideal for children

Yeah. And to be honest for general use you barely notice the difference in RAM.its currently £169 in John Lewis for 64gb.

The 16gb one can be got for under 100£ which is a great buy as long you don't plan to install too many apps

the £20 saving is not value for money in my opinion. if anything go up not down as this is a budget device.
Can’t see anything anywhere about Spotify? Also can I use the Spotify subscription on my other devices too so saving £15 a month for 6 months?

I think you're right. Which will make this a better buy, depending what you want it for. Probably the T3 is better value than T5 16gb if not bothered of full hd.

So what is the best sub-£200 android tablet for kids to play Roblox, etc...?
It says Android Oreo 8.0 on the Currys website. Can you upgrade the OS on this tablet or is it stuck in 2017?

It's running Android 8, but Huawei are releasing security updates for it.

You can't but some apps that require storage (Netflix, Spotify, BBC iPlayer) allow you to choose the storage location and from there you can select SD card. I have this tablet and highly recommend it! First post, hopefully it helps someone.
Was only searching for this tablet yesterday. Good price. Ordered!

Have some heat OP. Thanks.

It depends on the app. Buying a huawei is an absolute no never for me, it's practically closed protocol and feeding Xi Jinping's AI machine...no bootloader, no way
Had this tablet since December. Runs YouTube, movie streaming apps, iptv, uk tv channel apps, and browses the web just fine, which is all I need it to do.
Bought last week for the same price less £30 by opening a Very account. Very happy with it and no need to spend any more. Would have got the Lenovo but no Netflix HD was a deal breaker.

This is the t5, and 3gb ram version.
And slightly bigger.

Okay
I bought this a few month ago for my son and took out the 3 year insurance on it which includes accidental damage, good job as the screen is already smashed.

Cost £25 for 3 years, they wanted £35 and I said I'd have to think about it and he said I can do it for £25.

Maybe worth haggling with them
FMCHAOS13/04/2020 18:35

That one was never under £159.99.
Is it the same camera as on the T3? I want to use it for Zoom videocalls. Thanks
FMCHAOS14/04/2020 00:45

Was 150 after xmas.

I vaguely remember I came once across a price under £160, but don't remember where, according to Camel camel, the cheapest on Amazon was £159.99.If I came across a price cheaper than that, it was probably with a discount code.
What's Connor McGregor doing on the screen. Guy should be in prison for punching OAP
There's a new version coming soon
