What's the £50 PayPal credit??
Do they mean PAYG on the Huawei Site or will they pay for Contract sales too?

Heat added. EMUI is a bit marmite but I like marmite.

I would take the £50 with a grain of salt mind - my mum is still trying to claim the free Bluetooth headset that should have come with her Honor 9 Lite - they’re trying everything to get out of that including telling her there was no stock even though she ordered in the week the offer launched and telling the offer was over when she ordered it even though it’s still showing on the Hihonor UK website today. They’ve told her she will get it in a couple of days time but we will see.

I know Huawei and Honor are not exactly the same but with the fake Mate 10 pro reviews and the unreliability of claiming on previous offers I wouldn’t bank on that £50.

Still a great looking handset for the price though, Recombu have a good video on YouTube

You're speaking my language, but sometimes it's like banging your head against a drum.
However I completely understand people are skeptical.

Granted they try and be complicated about it, it there's a couple of people on here who've done it, and it worked.
I personally haven't with the 12 month, but I have with the 30 day and no come back.

Thanks Mrswitch for your support no where in the post do I say a 12 month contract this is my first post and I'm working hard here this is not rocket science

Forgive my idiocy, but how exactly do you cancel the 1 month SIM contract? Just ring O2 and say you want to cancel?
Original Poster
Yes no need to speak to carphone

You have the right to cancel in within 14 days

Yes. As simple as that, just make sure you do it within the first 14 days, and wait until you receive the SIM, so you can give them the number from it if needed, the 14 days doesn't start until you receive the SIM.

Great first post btw

Can't you just buy it on pay as you go for £189 and then not top-up the £10?
How is this compared to the P10 lite? in CPW website says that 3GB ram and does not have NFC nor Google Assistant.

Yes well spotted and you wouldn't need to top up £10 if done online but I believe it will be locked to O2 but hot djd1981

Yes, I am on Tesco mobile, so believe I can put my SIM in and it will work as Tesco mobile use O2? It seems a lot of phone for £139 if the £50 paypal cashback is honoured
Original Poster
Yes it will work on Tesco and I think this is a good for for that money I personally think there will not be an issue with the cashback

I hope you get your headphones. This is why I ordered it via honor website. I got my phone and headphones delivered at the same time + they provide 2y warranty

Yes I got my wife the Honor 9 a few months ago and it's a very good phone. My LG G5 has basically given up the ghost so happy to go with this, as it does everything I need from a phone
Will the phone be locked to O2?
Original Poster
Yes If you buy from 02 but can use Tesco mobile and giffgaff if you buy from CPW it will be unlocked to all networks
So which is the cheapest way to get this? Looking at getting a fairly well specced android tablet to use as a DSLR monitor using DSLR Controller. Not bothered with network but would be nice to be unlocked coz I use "3".

Yes that is a good and save deal (1 month) but I was referring to Mrswitch who had posted a screen shot of a 12 month deal stating "Try this then cancel"

and that can lead to problems, well it did for me. hotukdeals.com/dea…e=3
I just looked on the Huawei promotion link and if you go to "claim now" it tells you the claim form doesn't open till the 14th. This means, with the promotion ending on the 18th; you only have a 4 day window to claim.
Good price though!

Promotion ending means qualifying purchases stop then. The website presumably remains active for claims, seeing as it says you can claim between 14-45 days after purchase, if my one quick skim read is correct.
I know this is a stupid question for many of you on here but this is my first time attempting a deal like this but here is my question: How do I cancel the contract and not get charged the £15? Is there a way to do it or will I have to return the handset as well. Thanks!

Ring O2 within 14 days of receiving the sim and request a 14 day cease. You will not have to return the handset. Don't forget £50 topcashback.

Thank you very much, appreciate it. Also, I know TCB and Quidco both are offering £50 cashback but I get £55 cashback from my work discounts which brings total cost to £84 (£189 - £50 Huawei offer - £55 work discount)
When I have looked on CPW it says £139.99 upfront & £15pm 1 month Sim Only. So surely this is £139,99 less £50 possible TOPCASHBACK Less £50 PAYPAL promotion making it £39.99? Surely that can't be correct?

If you don’t mind, can you take a screenshot of the £140 offer on CPW
