Not sure it claims to cure colourblindness.
Really tempted to get this seems like a great deal plus 2yr warranty
I wanted a good looking phone but without the high-end cost and chose the Huawei P Smart.

This is even crappier
Anybody received their 3a? If so, how is it?

Is the P Smart Z a model up? Confusing naming on these.
Psmart z with the popup selfie camera and newer model is only £10 more on Amazon too.
Which is the better phone p smart+ or p smart z? Want a decent camera basically. Is the pop up selfie cam any good or just a gimmick?
Anyone know if this has NFC which is a must for me? Need a new phone but it's such a minefield. Budget is £220 max.
What the difference between the P Smart and the P Smart+ - only thing I can see is the main camera?

And as above, does this defintely have NFC? Would be buying for a friend...

Finally, any actual users here?

Heat OP, seems like a great deal!
According to GSM, the Smart+ DOES NOT have NFC.
@MrSwitch as the authority on all things mobile telecoms, what's your view on this for the money?

I'm looking at getting my old ma a replacement of her Moto G3. She needs a bigger and better screen and something that responds faster than the thing she has now. She's stuck on Android 6, as well.

Biggish, simplish to operate and future-proof for a little while would be the criteria. Any ideas?

I'd say plump for a pixel 3a if you want simple, £230 on eBay right now. 5.6" Screen.

Thanks but TBH that's quite a bit more than the budget I had in mind - she hardly ever uses the damn thing except for texts, Whatsapp and looking at the weather and the news.

She's got an anytime all numbers landline deal for the phonecalls so this would be top end of the budget. I know there might be a suggestion of getting a tablet but she's uses Whatsapp a lot to stay in touch with family so a phone is the best option for her.

Ah OK, I wouldn't even splash out on this in that case, my mum (64) uses the Xiaomi Redmi 7a and loves it, nice big screen, quite zippy and onky £69 at o2

Cheers, I was sort of leaning towards this being too much anyway and £70 was what she paid for the Moto a few years back, as new from O2, so the Redmi sounds just the ticket.

She's 93 in a few months so the fact she's even around at all is pretty surprising, let alone bashing away at a Smartphone.

Thanks very much for the steer.

No problem mate, hope she likes it, it has a very very capable budget chip in it the Snapdragon 439, has a decent camera for the money as well, far better than the Nokia alternatives etc.

As long as it's a big step up in grunt from that Moto as that is doing both our heads in. I'm using a S9+ so I'm used to a bit of snap when tapping and swiping but even she finds it laggy now.

Good news about the camera, she's been honking about how lousy her Tinder and POF photos look and that she's not getting replies.
