The Huawei P10 for £399 this is the cheapest I’ve seen it for new.

Also available on Amazon and Curry’s for the same price.

It was this price the other month when I bought the P10 Plus for £499.

Good price for a very capable handset. Heat added.

Dual or Single Sim?

Thanks Nathan,

Thats a killer, (for some)

It's a good phone, but the Honor 9 is very similar and is dual sim(though if you want the second sim, no micro sd card) and is a little cheaper at £370, maybe less if you look around. But the p10 does have the leica tweaks to the camera.

Still a little too expensive for this I reckon - £350 would've been a fairer price.

I was put off the Honor 9 because it looks less durable than the P10 (with its metal back). For £30 I'd go for the P10, though less clumsy people than me may disagree.

It's a nice phone. Tempted to just buy new from CPW after CeX sent me this in worse condition than described

You'll be waiting forever I feel. I went from a nexus device running 7 to a P9 on 6 in January and got fed up of their BS I had to punt it last month. Not acceptable. Won't go Huawei again for that reason. Even slower than Samsung in their bad days.

Lol you bought something from Cex and are surprised at its condition? Umm...

I got this phone and as good as it is, it is a bit expensive. Camera is ok and the screen is about the best thing on it. Mine seems to be a bit sluggish and web page scrolling isn't very smooth. Apparently there's a memory issue in which some devices have faster memory than others. Can't be seen til you test the device. I got a lemon.

EDIT:
Got a replacement handset and it's the same as the first, except it does have the faster memory which does make a difference. Screen scrolling is still poor to me.
TBH, I think the EMUI 5.1 update wasn't the best.

Its a fair and valid point! That said, I've had the Honor 8 for a year and that has a glass back and so far so good. That said I do use a case, but no screen protector. But I do agree a metal back would be a little more reassuring!

Super tempting... Was planning on getting the Xiaomi mi6 but this comes from Amazon so has better warranty (in my opinion anyway; I know you get credit card cover etc with those other sites but still...)

couldn't find this on Amazon? sold by amazon?

The charger for this phone is a royal pain in the arse. It always falls out, never chargers properly. Apart from that, it's a good phone.

Link? All i can find is eGlobal Central which ships the international edition from Hong Kong with no manufacturer warranty! If you want a dodgy import with half a warranty to save £43 go right ahead. I'd rather buy second hand from CEX with a 24 month warranty than get a dodgy import.

From the FAQ:

Q: Why are your items so cheap?
A: We source our products from trusted official dealers around the world and then import them to Europe.

Q: How does the warranty work?
A: As products are being imported from overseas, the Original Warranty may not be applicable with your local dealer but eglobal central covers your item with our own 24-month warranty (12-month warranty for mobile, tablets and audio products)

I don't see what justifies the £399 price tag, let alone what it was before. Doesn't seem particularly special

I bought the P10 Lite for £200 (less £10 TCB) from CPW.

I am so amazed about how good the phone is. The specs are similar to the Samsung S6 but it runs so much better then that.

This P10 must be so much better, so great value.

Go on, rub it in I've found grade A stuff I bought from there before genuinely was mint...this one ain't, and they've even missed out an accessory.

As far as performance, playing with the one I got from CeX it seems faster than a Pixel 1 XL (I've had them side-by-side, loading games, web pages etc. and the P10 is consistently faster). Fingerprint scanner on the P10 is brilliant and I quite like EMUI (though the lack of updates is a PITA).

Found one in game Leicester for £300 B grade still there when I checked yesterday if anyones interested.

This is slightly better than the Mi6 when it comes to performance and both front and rear cameras are miles better.

Wish it was from in hand experience, but seen a ton of video comparisons recently and the results lean to the p10, you can always go into a store like o2 and have a look at the p10, however the mi6 is kinda tricky to get a hands on comparison in the uk unless you know someone who owns the phone.

My Partner has a P9 and hers was updated to Nougat in June?? Before my Motorola!! Been a great phone. But no real advantage to upgrade P10

Heat for a good price for well spec'd phone. An alternative could be the LG g6 which is £399.75 on amazon

Sorry to break it to you but my LG G5 got nougat around late Nov 2016. Being 9 month late when big updates come every 12 months is not what I would call timely.

The P9 has been on Nougat for a while. Perhaps your P9 was network branded. This P10 being SIM free will get the updates straight away.

What network is your phone branded to? I know Vodafone (not that I recommend them) have nougat available, but it wasn't pushed to the phone so you'll have to download it.

Huawei have been slow to release the latest software compared to Sony/Samsung etc in the past, but in the last year or 2 they have been better (in comparison with other brands).

It was unbranded and certainly wasn't updated as of last month. I also know of others who have it and is still not updated, again unbranded.

I contacted Huawei beginning of the year and they confirmed I was unbranded and told me I was on the list to be updated. Initially told first quarter, then 2nd then they stopped replying to me.

Other than that the phone was decent even if it was somewhat underpowered. Just frustrating when they are now a whole version behind. A bit embarrassing really considering the Honor 8 was updated first quarter.

I'd personally go for the Pixel XL at the same price.

I think you maybe wrong the the Mi6 has the Snapdragon 835 processor with 6gb ram. I think the Mi6 will kill it in everyday performance and plus the miui software is a super smooth to use.

Go for the Mi6 you won't regret it. Super phone! I'm using one myself, the best phone I have ever purchased!

Negative. Last year's phone. Waiting for Mate 10 with Kirin 970
