Seemed like another cracking refresh deal, please do not do this if you are expecting to have a big credit purchase coming up, I don't know the exact implications, but a credit check, is a credit check.

Follow get deal link, click "pay your device off in full" add item to basket, pay the upfront cost, taking the 30gb or more tariff to receive a free gift (Claim free speakers, earbuds or action cam. Ends 4 Sept.)

Proceed through to checkout, and once you receive your phone, ring o2 from a different number and cancel your AIRTIME plan, and the phone and free gift are yours for £200.
(this is a 30 day rolling contract, so if they take a month's payment, they will refund you if you get in touch with them.

Is credit check is successful are there any implications? Still a worry of any kind?

No because its a 30 day rolling contract, you will just need to keep an eye on if they take your first month out, if they do ring them to get your refund, after your refund just cancel the direct debit.

I cancelled the contract after the first payment but they never refunded it. Because I never asked maybe this is the reason. Thanks for the prompt response.

Yeah you would need to physically ring them, they won't refund you without a chat.

Going back to sleep in 5, just been getting the little one back to sleep 😴
Great phone, have this, and it is just brilliant. Hot deal
Any idea or links for cheap unlock codes? Got a Huawei p20 pro yesterday but its locked to ee and less than 6 months old so EE wont do it according to their website.

Ebay has codes for 4 pounds but they're all for 6+ month devices.anything under 6 months, the cheapest I found was 42 pounds :/
Where about's does it give the option to pay for device in full, went as far as putting payment details and could not see it anywhere.

Click on pay off device in full, you should see it at £290, then enter the code at checkout for £100 off.

Is that before entering payment details or after on the upfront payment.
I have a Motorola G5 from 2017:

Battery last 4 hours and takes 7 hours to fully charge.

I think some black magic perhaps related to Android 8.1.0 has impacted the phone...

This or Mi 8....

No worries, can edit payment plan where it gives max upfront payment of £250. But no option for pay in full. May have removed that.
lot of good O2 refresh deals in the last 2 days At this price that would be the best smartphone you can buy below £200.

"+pay off your device in full"

Then follow the steps. Sorry bud
Are these any network?
I've had one before that was, though when I cancelled they insisted I still had to pay the first month.

Try to ask a STAC code, and provide this code to your current provider. I did this with ee and they said they will inform o2 to cancel contract 2 days later

Over the years I have had a good 10-12 o2 Refresh deals via HUKD

I have never paid a months notice to cancel

the biggest problem with these deals are O2 staff who don't know their left hand from the right
also it can take a month or two to resolve any outstanding issues

but the end result is always worth it

Amazing brightness and colour for an lcd screen, cameras near as good as Pro's array (that gets all the hype); very nice, palm-friendly design, great battery life

No doubt better option than Mi 8 at £200 price point @Sprintz (P20 is even splash-resistant, used it under the rain, what a relief to be able to do that safely)
