Just got one of these seemed an excellent deal if you don't mind low data. Other deals available with more data.

Vodafone 24 month contract through mobiles.co.uk

1GB data
Unlimited minutes/texts

£75 up front
£18 per month

£10 off upfront cost - 10OFF
£22 Potential quidco for potential £475

If you don't like the phone sell on ebay for almost free contract!

Seems good to me!

Edited to correct voucher code.

Great first deal, a no brainer if you require this phone and not much data. Thanks
Is the data useable abroad?

currently on a bt simo deal, wonder if theyd let me cancel it 8months early? (I am a broadband customer)

33678544-JMbwL.jpgIf you need more data £577 for 4GB. That's a cracker!?

And it's only £25 up front.

That's the deal that should be posted.

of course they would , I cancelled my BT sim around 4 or 5 months early, no issues. I was also a BT customer.

You are right, but cost was decider for me as the data won't be used.
It’s a decent phone. I got it on £30 8gb with headphones offer for resale. Pleased so far although the sound is no where near loud enough via headphones, even less than iPhones!

I'm hoping the camera is as good as dxomark says... Everything seems good enough at a good price. I'd love a P20 pro, but can't justify the cost.

Coming from an LG V20 and fed up of big phones!

It’s a decent camera and EMUI is smooth. Only complaint is sound but I’m sure I could adjust this after rooting and booting, if I can be bothered to learn and it’s worth invalidating the warranty!
For reference, the Pro has a 6.1" OLED display vs the 5.8" LCD display on the standard model. It has 6GB RAM vs 4GB, the battery life (under test) is best in class on the Pro, fairly average on the standard model, the Pro has IP67 water resistance vs IP53, and the Pro has 3x optical zoom paired with a 40MP main camera (as opposed to no optical zoom and a 12MP main camera (so basically the Pro camera comes in to its own when zooming in on stuff)

The differences aren't huge really. The £200 RRP difference seems pretty fair. I went for the Pro, but this was down to the relatively small price difference at launch. At current prices, I'd probably buy the standard model.

What I really wanted was the standard P20 on a good deal like this, but with the headphones Ended up paying ~£880 for the Pro with the headphones and a 10GB data contract.

This is a cracking deal. Going rate for it sim free from John Lewis, car phone warehouse etc seems to be £599. Was determined to not go back to to contract phones, but maybe, just maybe.
Anyone got opinions on mobiles.co.uk it's available sim free from them for £579

Does anyone know if the phones come unlocked from here please?

I have used mobiles.co.uk quite a few times and never had a problem with them, as previously advised, they are owned by Carphonewarehouse
Use 10OFF for £10 off upfront.
Was entirely happy with my s7 edge and my 7.50 a month sim only contract.

just ordered this with the £23 monthly plan.

thanks hukd!
I just upgraded to p20 pro yesterday with vodafone

£37 per month (plus pennies - was approx 37.40) for 16gb plus calls /texts are unlimited.

No money upfront for phone.

Admittedly had a decent loyalty bonus having been with them a while (18 years they told me).
Received my phone today...fantastic so far. Recommend

AVOID AVOID AVOID This is what happened to me; just a word of … AVOID AVOID AVOID This is what happened to me; just a word of warning about mobile.com cowboys:Apparently, my order namely 96203822 has not been processed because of "internal security failure". After complaining about this by email, I have been told by text that my card has been declined/ There are funds unavailable/ personal details maybe incorrect/ bank blocked card; even though my details are correct and funds are available, and card is working. It also worked on a previous order on monday 23/04/2018 order number 96184254. I was also told to call 01509 618561 to resolve this matter. Now that i called the number stated, a colleague has stated that this "internal security failure" was a final decision and that he could not change the decision. When i asked why it had failed, apparently he could not tell me as he had no further information regarding this matter, and the decision was final and could not be change it or resolve it. .... So why was i text in the first place to get this resolved? i told him that by text i was given a reason, that was because of "card has been declined/ There are funds unavailable/ personal details maybe incorrect/ card blocked" and was told to call the stated number to get this resolved, and that i also have another bank card for them. I was not receiving any co-operation from them.I was then redirected to customer services to cancel my first order, who accessed their systems and confirmed data protection with me. After completing data protection, which i presume was through their active systems; i was told the systems are down and my cancellation could not be processed.I have two contradictory personal, one on phone and one on email and no-one is helping me. I suspect the company is not happy with me trying to cancel my order 96184254, and to buy the same product through vouchercodes.com instead, which the offer ends 24/04/2018 with a £40 Amazon voucher.I have full record of our conversations, including emails and phone recording. These will be forwarded to trading standards and vouchercodes.com, of how this company has negotiated a a deal with vouchercodes.com and then deliberately avoided my purchase through vouchercodes.com, and also has denied me cancellation of my original purchase which was through myvoucher.com direct to keep me as their customer.Kind regards, A Khan.

Sorry you had a problem. Second time I've used mobiles.co.uk and perfect both times.

Well very impressed so far. Camera is better than Galaxy S8. Good screen. Like that you can turn of the notch, makes it look like an ordinary phone which notifications extend to the top! Good size as well. Slightly longer but same width as Galaxy S7.

Ordered Sunday and with me by Monday AM.

Thanks, any idea if there is any shortcut to get notification bar scrolled down? As in a gesture or fingerprint button tap, just stretching all the way up will get annoying due to the size of the phone.

Ordered mine anyway, its due Friday!

That is because you used mobile.com and they took your money direct.I used …That is because you used mobile.com and they took your money direct.I used myvoucher.com to get a reward namely amazon £40 voucher, to which mobile.com began making things difficult in order to steal the sale direct themselves; that's the big difference, you really should read more carefully.

I read your post, said sorry you had a problem and pointed out that I didn't. I didn't include myvoucher.com as part of the deal, so it's fair to point out that if you are happy to use the deal as posted there shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks.

I think it's just the standard swipe down from top only... Could be wrong.

Mine came with a clear bumper cover which was OK but recommend ordering tempered glass protector and a new case... I got the sign case from amazon for £10 and a 2 pack of screen protectors for £7

It did come with a screen protector already fitted though

If you swipe left to right on the bar at the bottom with the triangle circle and square it makes the screen smaller for one handed use
I think we should agree to disagree. I'll carry on enjoying my great new phone at a great price..whilst you look elsewhere or carry on with your specific problem.

Good luck.
Funnily enough no. I'm glad some people enjoyed the phone anyway. Sorry for wasting your time.
