Never had any issues personally having ordered bits and pieces from them. I tend to pay with credit card for additional protection when buying on it though!
Only think stopping me buying this otherwise very hi-spec phone is it's mediocre audio. Currently have LG G5 with B&0 dac extra. Use Deezer all the time and finding it hard to find same quality replacement.

Going to be very difficult to come close to Bang & Olufsen audio unfortunately

Unfortunately I'm no audiophile, but maybe you should look at the LG V30 or await it's replacement in next month or two.
I'm sure the DAC in the LG V30 is done super amazing chip that gives good really good quality output.
I'm sure the V30 can be had for around £300-£330 on Toby's Deals and E-Global. I think it also comes with BO headphones.
It was released late last year, but still has very good and respectable specs.
Camera was supposed to be good too, but doubt in class of P20 Pro!

The P20 Pro doesn't have a headphone jack so are you saying using the dongle and your own headphones will result in poor audio?

Presumably you have considered workarounds? You could buy your own DAC and use your own headphones through the USB-C port or get some good USB-C headphones.

I use Bluetooth earbuds with mine and sound is fine for podcasts. Have not listened to much music since I got the phone.

The LG V40 is out soon. Hopefully they will sell officially in UK.

I have a Lg v20 and the quad dac is sooooo good for flac files! Dont want to give up the quad dac. I am even getting good photos using the gcam mod. I really wish the mate 20 pro had a quad dac or the lg v40 will have a larger camera sensor. Will have to wait and see.

I know so many people that have this and even though I currently have the iPhone 8 Plus I would be very tempted to switch. Simply on the basis that it is dual sim which would be ideal for work as opposed to carrying 2 phones. I know other phones offer dual sim but this phone with its spec is swaying me.

In my experience, they are fine as long as your phone works ok. The phones won't come with warranties beyond what eGlobal offer though - is it still 6m? - so IMHO, thats too big a risk to take on a £500+ purchase.

I bought a Nexus 6P from them and it was fine until it died due to the battery drain bug. Had it been UK purchased it would have been repaired or replaced but it was way past the 6m EGC warranty so I was left without a phone
Doesn't this work out quite expensive if you intend to actually use it? A decent contract wiith > 2gb of data is, say, £15 per month. Over 2 years that would be £915. Buying on EE with 25gb data works out at £792 ish with the advantage of interest free installments. I think it breaks even at £10 per month.

Not voting either way.

Charge the work phone each day and just put call forwarding on and set it to your personal one... job done?

Received mine from Eglobal about a week ago, took about seven days to arrive with good tracking.

Came with a UK plug in the box, only slight difference from UK model is that it has a Huawei feed instead of Google feed when you swipe left (you can switch off, but not change to Google). No biggie.

Best phone I’ve owned by a mile.
Dual SIM works great BTW. The personal/work phone thing is exactly why I went for this instead of a UK single SIM version

I had been doing that for a while but I get unlimited data on my work phone for personal/work use so I take out the cheapest sim only deal for my private number and use my work phone as a hotspot currently. Be handier having both in the same device so I can chop & change!

Ah well if that is a work benefit it does make more sense.

Sound is very good on this phone. Speakers either end too. Better sound than my old S7 edge

That's 'like new' with only the bare phone, nothing else. This is brand new & boxed.
It's a nice phone. Only two small complaints. Wasn't keen on Huawei's default launcher. Far too basic for me and downloaded Microsoft's launcher which makes for a nicer experience. The notification light is smaller than tiny. Would buy again which says it all really and prefer it to the S9 which I returned. Same money when I got mine for p20 pro.

I understand that, but everyone has the majority of the bits that come with new phones these days, so in my opinion the O2 deal is the better of the two.

£550 for a phone which performs just above a Samsung Galaxy S7.

I don't get why the average user needs to get hung up on these bar charts. I use my phone for calls, texts, browsing and photos and based my choice of phone on the triple camera system which is stellar. No lag anywhere to be seen.
this chart's useful if you engage in the extensive video gaming on your phone, but for most people, it's not a guide that help you buy a phone.
Great phone but traded mine in for the gs9plus Purely because the video and audio recording on the p20 pro is pretty average quality. If it's still photography your mainly doing the p20 pro is the best phone this year and battery is amazing.
I'm waiting for the LG 40 or mate 20

Whats the cheapest one you found.
I've had mine a couple months now and it's a brilliant phone. I primarily bought it for the camera and it's amazing, I've never been so trigger happy before.

The battery is in a class of its own compared to any other phone I've used and even at 15% I don't sit there worrying it will go off next time I open an app.
