You can get this phone for around 450£ on eBay new. If you take that out of 677£ you will end up with 9.4£ for 100gb data, unlimited minutes and texts for 2 years.
It's probably one of the best phone contract deals I have seen on here in recent months. Even Mr.Switch went "wow"
If you go direct through tcb, the offer is there, that's £65.00 plus free watch.... making it super hot!

Can I get this of I'm already on three. My contract ends mid September.

EDIT: Nevermind. Just realised its not the Pro.

Brill thanks seems a pretty good deal to me, heat added op
Wow...
Hot from me. Tempted to bite even though on a contract until November this price seems good. But not even sure I want a new phone tbh lol

Even if it's not the pro version, this phone is great. High scores in camera department, battery life and it has my good old friend - headphone jack.

Anyone knows if I can get this deal if currently with three and my contract with them is on monthly basis?

My OH is with 3 (on a monthly rolling as she wasn't on contract).

After half an hour or so on live chat they finally matched the £27 as offered by Uswitch, for the P30.

Whilst this means she misses out on any possible TCB, she was really happy with this deal without having the hassle with number changes etc.

All depends on what you value more:

If you don't mind having a model that is slightly older (but still packing the same processor as the P30) the Mate 20 Pro is definitely more feature packed. Features above and beyond the P30 include wireless charge/recharge, bigger screen, bigger battery and more secure face recognition technology.

If you value having the 'latest' handset and want a slightly smaller form factor in your hand, and the front screen to have a smaller notch, and the trusty old headphone jack - P30 is a good option. And even though the battery is smaller it still does really well in tests.

Thanks very much. I'm still confused

I don't care about the latest, they have the same chipset. I never use a 3.5mm jack so probably better without it. I doubt If ever use the wireless charging but like the idea of it......but then there's the added weight. I think the most advantageous feature the Mate has over the P30 is the screen resolution.

The form factor is a concern. These things are getting bigger and bigger!

I didn't know about the face recognition you mention.

I think another concern is getting the best value for money. With the watch in the equation it's really difficult to guage. By the time I make my mind up the deal will probably be done anyway

It does get a bit confusing, for sure! And I probably don't help the matter - so apologies

If you can live with the extra bit of weight and you like the overall design, the Mate 20 pro is better value overall imho.

And some may disagree, but unless you are planning to use your phone as part of a VR headset, whilst the screen resolution is nice (got my first quad HD screen in an LG G3 years ago) it generally drains the battery more than a normal full HD screen, which is why even the latest Samsung's default resolution is full HD rather than WQHD, unless you go into settings and set max resolution. For most stuff I don't believe the difference is noticeable in general use. So whilst I'd personally opt for a Mate 20 pro over a P30, it wouldn't be for the higher pixel count on the screen.

Not sure if waterproofing is important to you either? As I think the P30 is IP53 (splash proof) and the Mate 20 Pro is IP68 so can survive continuous submersion in water.

You'll have to let us know what you choose! And if you choose in time!

£351 to buy outright on O2 refresh.
It's a great deal for the money, but it is still a lot of money given the potential for US vs China to kick off again at any moment. Being without security updates on Android is a big risk...
Scorching
My wife's just got this although gutted we didn't find this post first and gone through TCB instead for the extra £65 but still a hot deal regardless!

£275 if you go through live chat and ask for a discount.
Taken this deal (Thanks BTW). After starting contract, data can also be upgraded to unlimited for £3 per month within the 3 app, making it £30 per month. Seems good to me
This deal is so hot, the metoffice have put out a level 4 alert on their heat health watch page!

As well as TCB, if you sold the free GT watch you can potentially bring the total cost down even further!
Agreed this on Wed as an upgrade (last day of GT watch offer) , told delivery Thursday, didn't come went on live chat knocked extra £75 off for inconvenience, now coming Tuesday thanks magicdamo
