If you're OK with redemption deals, then they also have a 30gb deal on o2 with a theoretical £16.50pm after claiming the £396 redemption cashback
Total cost after would be £396

Yes, "theoretically" £16.50/month, as over the 24-month term the £396 cashback amount is split & subsequent claims have to be made at the 6, 9, 12, 15, & 18-month milestones:

Hi All

I have an existing contract with O2 that will run out in a couple of weeks, can I buy this phone on O2 with a new contract (and new number) and then when my contract runs out get my PAC code and transfer it to the new phone?

Yup. People generally don't like those sorts of deals, hence why I added it as a comment, better to have it there than not, thanks for pointing out the t&c's though

You mean you couldn't be seen to be posting a "Deal" that would attract negative voting?

OK.

I don't believe you can, you'd have to port your current number out to say a free payg sim card, then port it back into your new contract, last time I checked you can't port to same provider.

Will do Mr/MrSwitch.
Hi switchy! I got a p30 lite from them last week on this exact tariff working out £180 when it's all accounted for afterwards.
Should keep my dad happy for a bit!
But it's not auto cashback, it's manual.

So far phones been very well behaved and quick enough for what it needs to do. Very close to a good mid range phone in general use.

Definitely a decent phone, especially for your pops, how's the camera, heard that's the standout.
That's not fair. You didn't let clever Trevor say it's only so much via redemption deal

Actually pretty amazing for the price, I don't think nothing comes close for that price. Low light performance is outstanding.
It does post process the picture making things lighter and smoothing things out, but that's what cameras are for apparent!. Confirm our standards of Beauty!.

yeah, had seen YouTube videos saying it was punching above its weight, nice to get some proper feedback from someone not being paid to say it though.
Well pleased with my P20 Pro from O2 for the last couple of years. This deal is cheaper per month and more data than I get now and a phone upgrade! V tempting

O2 are actually the only network that let you keep your mobile number whilst taking out a new contract still on O2!

It's not a PAC code though, it's called an internal migration. If you ring them after taking out the new contract and just say you have an existing contract and you want to do an internal migration and move that number onto this new contract, it will automatically cancel off your old one and you'd pay any remaining balance off, and the number would transfer over to the new contract

This is for the standard P30, not the Pro just in case you were about to pull the trigger like I was!
My P30 has 2 sim slots but only recognises 1, does anyone know how difficult it is to flash these phones with dual sim firmware?
