Bring back the pro deal!!!
Tempting though!
I ordered this phone on mobilesphonesdirect on contract a few days ago. after cashback it works out 3.5pm*24= 84 quid. i know some people don't like cashback. might be worth checking it out if its still availale.

How did u manage that?

I went to store on the day of the deal posted. The guy told me if I take 30gb PM plan it will give me 100 pounds off and I can cancel the plan anytime. I got the phone didn't pay anything upfront. After couple of hours I rang CS paid full balance of 156. I'm still running the airtime for a month but already given month cancellation notice.

I did the same... But through TCB, which was £42.42 for new contracts, so after redemption and TCB it'll be £1.74 per month over the 2 year contract.

Got a 2GB P30 Lite O2 contract last night for £5 per month but they only now have 4GB for £7 per month.

Still good value if you want to buy this particular phone as it works out at £7 x 24 months = £168 for the phone plus 2GB, unltd, unltd contract after claiming the cashback (you pay £20 per month then claim cashback throughout the 24 month contract period).

Going through TCB gets you £42.42 back bringing the total cost to £125.58 for the phone plus 2 year contract.

Even if you don't use the SIM iit's a cheap total cost for this phone.

I did this last year with the legendary Samsung S9 deal and all is going well and as expected.
TCB paid the £42 no problem.

I appreciate that cashback deals over 2 years may not be suitable for all but it's the cheapest option to get this phone.

If you want to make a few quid then the phone will easily and quickly sell for £200 less any fees depending on how you sell it.

You're looking at a potential profit of £60 or so even at the £7 per month price it is now.

I was lucky to get one at £3.50 per month and will be £140+ in profit after the 2 years.

Got another last night at £5 per month and will be giving the SIM to my kid to save him £50 per month on his ridiculous contract for 2 years.

The phone from the first contract sold on eBay within 5 hours, listed at £200, £1 FVF 😁

What's everyone's thoughts with this phone in regards to future Google updates. Will it continue to get Google play updates etc?
@MrSwitch likelihood of the p30 pro dropping again?
