In my experience these guys don't pay the 'guaranteed cashback'.

Load of pish. Trump has said government employees cannot purchase Huawei but he hinted at the ban been lifted only a few days ago.

Well I can say my experience is the exact opposite, in fact it is crazy efficient. I submitted one today in fact and it was approved for payment within 5 minutes. Previous payment was made within 30 days after approval.

That's really annoying. I guess I'll contact them.

Did you use their online form and attach the PDF bill direct from the network provider website?

I actually went with an 'auto' cashback deal. They were just supposed to send me a check after a couple months. I didn't arrive, I went to their website and looked for a way of contacted them and after some hunting around I could only find a phone number. This told me that they don't want to be contacted so I guessed they made a habit of not paying out and I never did bother calling them.
Go through tcb and get an extra £42. Heat for a good contract. Considering its Vodafones proper unlimited tariff with the entertainment pack
Very tempting. Only thing that puts me off is the hassle claiming the cash backs

This is a brilliant deal on paper (if all the cashback is honoured)

Essentially works out at £19.10 per month (this taking into account the £10 a month I will save with Spotify) for an unlimited sim with a flagship phone.

Takes 5 mins tops and the cashback is paid directly into you account. Pretty quickly aswell compared to mobiles.co.uk who also pay by cheque

Then I’m sorry to say, it’s your own fault that you lost out.
Harmony OS just revealed by huawei as a back up. I got this last month with free watch. Everything went smooth. Its a good deal. It includes Vodafone roaming plus as well.
Any idea why I’d get this? My credit score is good.

Give them a call. Can't remember why but I got this a couple of contracts ago and it was nothing to do with my credit worthiness or lack of it.
Why doesn't this have more heat?
Just my luck. I buy my phone in the one week between two different promotion periods.
Anyone who has gone with this deal when do you chose what you want on the entertainment pack?

I've just completed and it didn't give me an option. Pressume it's when the phone arrives ???

I haven’t gone for this just yet but will in next few days. From when I started my current sim contract with Voda I think you get a text message when you put the sim in the phone. Not 100% sure tho
Does anyone know if this phone is unlocked so i can use a work SIM on another network?

Most likely will be unlocked. I think it's only networks that still sell locked phones.
I can't decide between this and the recent EE essentials deal at £33 month with no redemption. I think the difference comes down to whether I'll use the red entertainment package (a little) and whether Vodafone's VeryMe is worth anything. Other than the odd free coffee and cheap odeon tickets, does VeryMe offer anything or is it more and more like Wuntu (useless)?
Not sure why this doesn't have more heat, particularly if you already use Spotify. ~£20 a month for a flagship, with unlimited data and no upfront cost after cashback - hot for me.
