And warranty is covered in the uk
I know nothing about them and have never bought from them, but this is probably worth reading.

Do you mean the 10x version or standard version.

I don't mind the standard one, 10x one is 100£ expensive

My thoughts too. Even if this US/China thing is nothing, damage is done short-term. I would not spend £600+ on a Huawei right now despite how good the hardware is. You see all the resellers dumping Huawei phones at amazing prices too and not buying more.
Considering paying in 4 months with paypal credit... Is this version of the phone much inferior to the UK version?
Confused how they offer two year official samsung UK warranty on their samsung phones.
more than one reviews say "UK customers beware! This is a company, which ships from Luxemburg, not from UK!!!"
Ill wait when they put on market Mate 30 this will drop the price again

And what is the problem shipping from Luxembourg? EU rules still apply. Even Vodafone does all major purchasing from their Luxembourg legal entity due to the favourable tax rates compared to the UK.
It will drop again that is inevetable, its just a matter of when. As far as i know, these are gray imports, they are shipped to warehouses in the uk where they are then posted to the customer, hence the short wait for divivery.that and the 2 year warranty makes it more desirable than the likes of eglobal and other chinese sites.
Hi, I bought a P30 Pro a few months ago, fantastic phone - great camera, battery and so fast, no issues at all.
Saw this tweet from Huawei and looks like everything is going to be fine - Android updates wise. twitter.com/Hua…673

Does anyone think that there will actually be problems with all the news in mind?
Doesn't Huawei have a global warranty unlike Samsung?

Will be fine, security threat was always about trade deal and tariffs war between US and China

It was always about money, Huawei was banned immediately after China didn't sign trade deal but US companies were still allowed to sell to Huawei, doesn't make sense if they are a security threat

Ban will also be lifted as US tech companies could potentially lose millions in hardware/software sales, security threat magically disappears!
