At £636 total for the term on the OP, were O2 really paying people £264 to take a phone off their hands?
This has already been posted mate. Got frozen because of the dodgy seeming cashback
unlimited data on vodafone for 7 less a month
Was 23.50 a couple of weeks ago on this site
Can't believe this is getting cold votes without good reason. The one I would partially accept was "it was £23.50 a couple of weeks ago" but unless you have a time machine... and for this phone with this contract, £26.50 is still a bargain.

Oh and i'm on a cashback deal with MPD. Have submitted 3 x cashback claims so far the latest one being today. Within an hour of submitting the claim - all done online very simply - I had an e-mail saying it'd been approved and the cash would be in my bank within 14 days. This is the standard service with MPD too, every claim i've submitted has been equally quick and easy. They're owned by AO too so a pretty safe bet.

Someone voting cold give me a good reason this isn't a deal or anything close to competing?!?!
