I agree, this is the phone I never had, always wanted a go but just never bought it. Weird thing is, I recommend it to most people when they ask which phone to get.

I'm weird! My wife has always told me I am, but now I agree with her

Can't see these lasting long. Actually got the OH one delivered last week from wowcamera, and really want one now for myself. I presume these would be easy enough to unlock? I can't even remember when the last time I took a photo on my phone, but the jealousy is eating me up inside and turning me ugly

EE charge £8.99 to unlock, I'd assume even cheaper on ebay

In a word, yes!

Oh dear, I'm off for a coffee and some severe self judgement.
I was so tempted last night but again no headphone jack. Don't come to me with adapters and Bluetooth solutions. I have so many pairs of small headphones dotted round the house that are perfect to grab as I'm running for a bus.
Is this dual sim?

It doesn't state. L29 is dual Sim

What about using an adapter?

Or use a Bluetooth solution!
In all seriousness, most people have those headsets lying around because they came with every phone. Move with the times though and use a BT headset. £20 off Amazon and worth it in my opinion

£8.99 is usually the cheapest from EE. In many cases it's more expensive on eBay to unlock. If you find a working unlock for less then £8.99 you've done well.

I think you're right, £8.99 seems reasonable from a quick ebay search.

I was assigned 'master phone unlocker' in work 2 years ago when our retail shop closed down and I moved to our warehouse, so unfortunately I have experience of EE and their phone unlocking and various other companies. Vodafone and 3 I hate them the most

Hate seems like a strong word

How's your job, working from home?
MrSwitch12/04/2020 10:57

Hate seems like a strong word :DHow's your job, working from home?

There were 30 of us working in the warehouse, there's now just 4, yet we all have to try and do the work of 30 people, so it seems like I'm going to use the word hate again. I hate working there currently but we're keeping the business running in the vain hope it will survive. I also wrestle with whether it's morally right to go to a non essential job each day, but if the rest of my colleagues don't have a job after this, how will that help them?
Good find but oos now sad

I have three sets of wireless head/earphones one being a really high-end Sony pair that I use on flights (even those I prefer wired to my MacBook). Whenever I need the smaller ones they're never charged which I appreciate is my fault or they're not paired because I had to pair them to my watch or my tablet or some such. I'm both and audiophile and a tech geek you will never convince me that Bluetooth headphones are in anyway a replacement for the three pairs of half decent wired in ears that are all sufficient for podcasts and work with no fuss every single time.

It won't, if you can go to work in a safe environment, then why not?

Deaths etc are horrendous, but if companies like yours (and mine) don't carry on working if they can, then the economy will end up in the gutter.

I thought that, just click on the correct colour which is breathing crystal and you should see it in stock.
Double check unlock codes from EE against this model .I heard it's not cheap to unlock .

No. It's a stupid thing to remove from a phone and Bluetooth headphones need charging and bring latency - which is useless for gaming and video (to a lesser extent). Also, nothing worse than Bluetooth late at night when it fails to connect or disconnects and blasts whatever you're doing out loud.

Am tempted by a P30 Pro but NM media... another strike against it.
I have the P20 pro, really happy with it still but is the P30 pro alot better?

I hear you, but for the regular users and arguably the mass market, wireless was the way to go. Huawei not being the only brand to do this of course. For the audiophiles and serious gamers, where a wired solution is a must, the adapter provides the solution. I completely agree with the limitations that BT audio has, but for the level of phone that it is (I still haven't bought one myself) it is a sacrifice that most don't mind.
Ohh so tempting...

I used to be a sceptical about BT audio and I can officially say after going from wired sennheiser to Sony WH1000xm3 there's genuinely nothing I can tell about quality loss. Now, I'm not listening to flac and vinyl, which is probably where people who don't want to switch are coming from, but I don't care enough to let that dictate convenience. It's deffo about personal preference which I respect but there's devil in the detail around this, i feel.
