That deal is for the fastest data plan. Which is above 10mb/s.

sadly i bought 30pro for 256 from o2.. this deal looks nice..normally 25-30 for plan only ..so phone just comes at 250..
Thanks, I don't know why they couldn't give me a deal like this after 4 hours on chat getting nowhere last week and subsequently cancelling my contract.

Taken this up now, thanks.
one thing I don't get is they offered me 5g but limited to 2mb/s (when trying to get a new deal).

What on eart is the point of offering 5G, why not use 3G for these speeds?

I was on their chat earlier in the week, they just told me wait until Friday as they can't match these deals before. Luckily my partner works for the NHS so we both get the 15% off as you are allowed to also share with one other person. So P30 Pro with max speed unlimited data for £30.60 per month and £85 topcashback suited me just fine this morning
Are you sure you can get the 15% off (Vodafone Advantage)? Since it can't be applied to promotional offers? Since I've just upgraded they said that it won't discount on a discount (which the above offer is).

I will still try though...

To be honest I don't know. I also don't know if they do apply it if it will affect the cashback. But I am happy with a good phone on a good network with unlimited data with no speed restrictions for £36pm. If the cashback tracks then great, if the 15% advantage is applied then even better, if they both get applied then perfect for me. Will be trying the advantage on Tuesday when the number ports as not picking the phone up until tomorrow, would report back but probably no use to anyone as I'm guessing the deal runs out on Monday

All good for me since my existing Vodafone deals ends and reverts back to £40 a month. So even if I can't get get the extra 15%, it will be a good deal and work out about £260 extra on the expiring contract but with now unlimited data and the phone.

So might be better than going 02 refresh and flafing with canceling contracts. Would still need to pay 30 quid a month for unlimited data on a good network on top anyway, so 6 quid different.

Very true, so £6pm for the phone effectively before cashback. As long as cashback tracks then phone is costing £59, all relative I suppose as I probably don't actually need unlimited data, but like you can't be bothered fafing around and also risking the impact on the credit score

Had 100gb but have found that MS Xcloud streaming, uses quite a bit of data for gaming sessions. It will be great to plug in the p30 pro into a monitor via usb-c and then use desktop mode to run MS Game Stream. It's just like having a Xbox at work

So thanks for the deal

I actually called EE on Sunday. Been a customer for nearly 20 years (including orange/T-Mobile) was told because I am such a long standing customer they could offer me an 'amazing deal' on this phone. "30GB data for just £47pm with only £200 up front!" Wasn't even worth arguing, just requested my pac code

Did they try the "but we sell genuine phones, boxed, straight from the manufacturer" line?!

No but I did say you can get it far cheaper from fonehouse etc. They came back with "but they don't have the same level of customer service" I just laughed
Just been onto vodaphone and they wont honour the nhs 15% with a promotion

Vodafone deals are rubbish on black Friday nowadays. I remember when I got the s8 for & 22 a month with 4GB, flagship at the time and the year before the LG G3 was 140 payg. Those were the days

O2 deals been better this year compared to vodafone.

Vodafone had some cracking deals last year. O2 came up with some good ones this year. Best I've seen for this phone has been 30GB £30pm £30 up front which is pretty decent. I like the idea of unlimited though. Plus my work phone is O2 and have signal issues. The O2 £250 deal was brilliant but risks credit rating, got to weigh it up. Still... Anything is better than my offer from EE which was quite frankly insulting!

How do you buy one for that price from o2? Looked at o2 refresh but cant see it
Can defence personnel benefit from this discount?
So, bit of an update. Ordered Friday morning, collected from store first thing Saturday morning. Spoke to the online chat this morning as sim still not activated after 24 hours. Told it will be done soon. Now on the phone to them for over an hour, apparently the store did not push through the order correctly and they are struggling to do it over the phone. This is for both me and my partner as both ordered the same time and having the same problem. Hmmmm 14 day cool off period keeps coming to mind
