Huawei P8 Lite phone (2017 model) with 16GB storage. Just £129.99 + a minimum top-up of £10. (Possible £5.25 TopCashback)

One of EE's Black Friday deals, so presumably time-limited.

FYI, EE state they will unlock a PAYG phone bought directly from them as soon as you get it, on request...

If you buy this at this price, you are unlikely to be disappointed. If you can get the P10 Lite for only £20 more, get that instead. Not hot or cold for me.

Can get P10 Lite for the same price/cheaper …Can get P10 Lite for the same price/cheaper https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/huawei-p10-lite-sim-free-smartphone-blackbluegold-carphone-warehouse-30-day-rolling-tcb-50-tracked-net-15499-50-10499-2830983COLD!

But isnt this deal for a credit checked 30day sim with o2
The ee deal is pure payg

I would have gone for this phone if it had 32GB internal memory. I currently have a P8 and am finding these days that 16GB isn't quite enough! That's why I've gone for P10 lite.

You can add a micro SD and expand it to over 100GB

Not voting either way, but beware Huawei will release updates but EE are the LAST to push them out. I had to unlock the bootloader on my p9 lite the latest update which EE still havent released. The worst company ever.

This is useful for media, but not if you have a lot of large apps as they can't always be moved to SD storage.
If you're talking about formatting the SD card as internal storage I've Googled this and I'm not sure it is possible with the P8 lite from the phone's menu, I think you may need to play around with the storage using developer options, but I may be wrong.
Regardless it's a bit of a compromise as the micro SD probably won't be as fast as the internal storage and future android versions may not support this.
I'd rather have the larger storage to begin with and not have to worry.
