They have an EE Sim already and so should not be a problem to use that here as its EE deal.

16Gb the only major downside. Microsd card slot there but most apps like to use
that 16GB memory first.
Great deal for a good budget handset
This Vs the honor 6x?

Anyone any idea how much a 2 year old P8 (not lite) in perfect condition (been in a case all its life) will sell for?

16gb two years ago was fine but now I would stay well clear of any such handset. 32GB is bare minimum these days if you don't want constantly clear your phone storage.
Bought my P8 none lite over a year ago for £149, is this really a great price?

Disagree!
All depends what you use it for
Some users can get by with 8gb

If one uses it for phone calls/text only then there is no need for a smartphone. Otherwise 16gb is very tight use - gone are days when app creators looked at phone space requirements, everyone seems to assume you just have tons of free space.

Pay as you goIf you’re on pay as you go, you can unlock your phone as s … Pay as you goIf you’re on pay as you go, you can unlock your phone as soon as you get it, as long as it’s locked to EE, Orange or T-Mobile. Your pay as you go account must be registered with your details for us to unlock a pay as you go device. Register or manage your account >You must also ensure the device has not been reported as lost or stolen. There are no charges for unlocking for pay as you go devices bought from EE and our indirect partners. We’ll need to check other devices to confirm where and when they were bought. Pay monthly devices used on pay as you go will be subject to pay monthly rules and checks.

For the on line form you need Click here
If cpw will price match get it from them as it will already be unlocked to any network
Bought their flagship P8 when it was brought out and the stopped updates after 11 months. Will never but another Huawei again.

Aside from games, how much storage are your apps using?

Agreed app creators are probably happy to use more and more storage, but I really don't think 16gb is very tight.
I've got 16GB, a bunch of apps installed, and am using just over 5GB.
Granted, don't have any games installed.

I'm just looking at my apps now and their storage. Here'sa sample, converted to GB for easier comparison:
Amazon shopping 0.093 GB
Hangouts 0.06 GB
Google Maps 0.220 GB
Barclays 0.120 GB
BBC Weather 0.018 GB
Chrome 0.09 GB

That'll increase over time, but my point it, 16GB is enough storage for quite a few apps.

I think this is a fairly excellent deal for the price.

Not sure where you got the info from but i have just looked at google maps on my phone and it states 156 MB for Google maps, and 22 MB seems a little small for a map app, chrome also shows as 190 MB.

0.22GB = ~220MB, so slight more than yours....might just be where I've got an offline map downloaded.

Your Chrome figure would probably plummet if you uninstalled and installed it again. Mines probably on 90MB because I've not had it installed long, and haven't built up loads of rubbish being cached, etc.

yeh why would they price match, have they been known to in the past?
This is ****. The p9 lite was this at its lowest before wahwey withdrew it. Looks like cex is my friend

Pmsl. Gsmarena has all the facts.
Huawei are in the P10 already.
They upgrade the old model with a rubbish budget Chinese chipset. HiSilicon Kirin 655. I wont touch anything that does not use snapdragon.
This deal only online, went into store costs 200 quid had to order online.
I am confused in that they mix pay-monthly terms in a pay-as-you-go order, like that "we own the device for the first 6 months" statement in the first step of the order, which clearly refers to a pay-monthly contract.

Anyway, can you order this for store delivery and once you receive it there, get it unlocked on the spot? Has anyone done that, even with a different device under EE?

Thanks
