Is this this the dual sim version? Thx

the website just says nano sim so I doubt it's the dual sim version being a UK variant but I will wait for the customer service chat to open tomorrow and find out

Thanks for posting this OP. Been looking at this phone recently and seems to have plenty of good reviews.
the price is really 379 as you have to buy a giffgaff packed
great device for the price
just got mine today delivered from them. the phone is not the dual sim version, but it is excellent can't have enough of it. Sold my iphone 6 just to get this. worth the money

Are you a first time android user? I remember my first time. oh the joy
Isn't this £300 at Vodafone?

Not if your already on giffgaff

Isn't this £300 at Vodafone?

It was, but I'm pretty sure they've upped it to £380 now.
Lovely phone. Once you've stuck the Google Now launcher on it at any rate
if you have a giffgaff sim or can get a free giffgaff sim you don't need to buy the goody bag as you would be an existing customer

The sim has to be activated, min £10 activation (£5 if a non referral sim)
Right, so 2% of the population can get the phone at this price. For the other 98% the title is misleading - the price is £379 and should be changed
Topcashback give you £10 cashback on a giffgaff sim activation + possibly another £5.00 for the purchase of a phone.

is this such a good deal? surely the g5 is a much better phone at the same price?

£385 at the moment.
a phone with no IS, full hd, short battery life, unknown brand, ugly IU, for £379.... sorry but no way... still cold

unknown brand

3rd largest mobile phone seller on the planet. Yup. Totally unknown .... X)
Not a first time Android user just feels good to be back on Android though

1. Not sure what IS is but.. If it's image stabilisation you may want to check this out youtu.be/9XW…uJI cause apparently it's not really needed.

2. the battery life is very good, check m.gsmarena.com/hua…php

3. It's been mentioned here already but Huawei are a massive and reliable brand, not sure Google would have picked them for the Nexus otherwise.

4. Not sure what an IU is but Huawei's skin on Android is 'fine' not great but okay and most of the quirks can be ironed out by slapping on an alternative launcher.

5. At this price it is close to a bargain for what you're getting.

Have some heat OP.
just because you may not like the phone doesn't mean it's a bad deal there are people here looking to buy this phone at a good price hence why I posted the deal just because you don't like the phone doesn't mean it's a bad deal

yes but for the same money you can get a LG g5 which has
higher resolution
second wide angle camera
much better UI
latest snapdragon cpu (might not be much in the performance but I'd trust it more for reliability and compatibility)

so for me the g5 seems a lot better for the money
I have this phone its excellent

The G5 looks plastic and cheap though. The design of this phone is stunning IMO.

And lol at the worlds third biggest smartphone manufacturer being 'unknown'

Troll post of the day for me and it's only 12.47pm...
Nexus 6P (£370 at the moment), Huawei P9 (£380 here), LG G5 (£385, with Very deal)? Struggling to decide. OK the S7 is better but very significantly more expensive.

6P - pure Android, great display but too big? slightly older processor?
g4 - excellent specs and camera, poor design and UI
P9 - good camera, good design, medium specs, not quad HD or amolled, poor UI?

or wait for the OnePlus three

I'm tending to the G5 given the price equivalence, but....

When did I say it was unknown? It is a nice looking phone but I'd expect more on a recent device from a big manufacturer like Huawei.

Not against this phone most maybe a good phone but a year back when I gave similar comments about Oppo I was told the same thing one of the world largest phone manufacturers and all that, it doesn't matter who are the largest the fact is what people loved to buy and We all know that, I personally I would never pay that much money for a phone without QHD and poor resale value I am sure after 6 months you can't sale for half price......maybe Huawei have good market in Asia but not in UK and Europe
I have the previous metallic P8, which I got for only £150 (thanks again HUKD & parasitemol) - very pleased with it & will do me for a few years.

As good as it may be, I don't think this (P9) is worth more than £300, & it was this price at Vodafone about a month ago: Huawei P9 on PYG £300.00 Vodafone online

the LG g5 may have a higher resolution screen but the build quality is shocking,, light bleed gaps in the case , badly molded rear "metal", they had a chance to steal the market with that phone but me like many others have been put off purely by the quality control

Unknown brand ROTFL.
Shut up! I've been looking to buy the Mrs one of these and I am currently paying £15/month with Giffgaff! I must read further on how to take up this offer!
This "unknown brand" is getting some good reviews. I've heard good things about the P8, so will the P9 be better.... Must resist the temptation to buy this....
Heat added - it's £419 from cpw
