To summarise the debate so far. Everyone thinks both the Huawei T3 and Lenovo P3 tablets aren't very good. Oh dear.

I have got lenovo tab 3 for my work it runs android 6 and I dont think it will ever get update.

This also has got 2 year warranty by Huawei.

Lenovo speakers are really bad quality in my opinion.

This seems a really good deal, I don't know whether there may be something better on black Friday though.

This does seem good

Looks decent, I don't know why so many don't like EMUI. It's the only skin I've used that is as smooth as pure android (haven't used Samsung Experience yet). If this is as well optimised as my P9 Lite, it won't be a laggy mess like a lot of other tablets at this price.

I've had one of these I sent it back very slow and freezing all time go with lenovo

The last Mediapad I had was the 8 inch one. Decent spec but it was so sluggish, had to return it. Anyone know if these are any better?

I don't know for the Media pad but the Lenovo Tab 3 is rubbish.

TCB

I've had this tab for a few months (had a Samsung galaxy before that). I haven't found it slow/lagging as yet but I only use it for browsing, watching programmes and reading magazines. The picture quality seems good and there is an earphone socket (or bluetooth) if the speakers are not loud enough for you.

Thanks op. Had just bought it from very 20 mins earlier but have since cancelled and rebought at Curry's. FYI Amazon have a 1 to 2 month wait for dispatch(otherwise I would of gone with them)

5% cash back through Quidco. 24 hours only, from midnight. Saves a fiver.

this or amazon fire 8 hd

Depends if you can live with the Amazon OS ecosystem. For anything non-Amazon related I prefer my Android tablet to the Fire.

Huawei build of Android 7 is very good its called Emui well supported . You will probably get updates too. My brother honor 8 has had a few updates and is supported by XDA community .

emui.huawei.com/en/

Are any of these available? None in any of the 4 stores close to me

Does anyone have or has seen a good case for these?
